David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

I’m in this furnace now. It’s been hard, harder than I could have ever imagined, and yet I know, that the Father knows I am weak and is showing much mercy. I truly understand some of what David cried out to God with tears, a dry throat, in weakness and despair. I received the same Scripture and been meditating a lot. To me it spoke of complete surrender and repentance as well as trust. Very hard, but that is why the bruising first. Have courage. He shall not leave you nor forsake you.. You are His.

How are you doing now? Have you found you're able to pray much deeper now you've had past sin burnt away? It should be seen as a blessing that a fiery trial has become upon you. Easier said than done though, I feel I'm at the back end of the fire right now. Gods love shining through me is all I want now. All worldly endeavours have lost their appeal

I obviously had no understanding of the baptism of fire. I love DW I wish more preachers were like him. Full of passion for the Lord!! Two weeks ago I had a good friend die that I thought God was going to heal. For just a moment I could feel my faith waining. Then I remembered God‘s faithfulness and who he is. Then I was like there had to be a reason that I just didn’t understand and I didn’t blame God. Knowing God’s character can help through difficult times so we don’t think he turned his back on us.

I felt the Holy Fire and it was burning within me. The Holy Fire was very intense as the pastor just described and it was purging all my filthiness to cleanse my whole body, my soul and spirit. I felt I was being cleanse and I am clean in Jesus name. Amen!

God did it for me I enjoyed smokin weed for many years but I knew it was separating me from God and the Holy Spirit so I prayed about it for many years and one day I just said I’m not gonna buy anymore when I’m out and I didn’t and the desire just left and I haven’t smoked it or even wanted to or even missed it and I know it’s because the Holy Spirit took that desire away and it feels so good to not be in bondage to it anymore …. I have been baptised by the baptism of fire 🔥 and taken into a dark place and the intensity of refinement of removing the dross’s from my body and mind and false doctrine and teachings of allowing the baptism of Jesus to claim me for his own to retrain me in the truth of my faith in hearing the Holy Spirit of being a witness and voice of the church in Christ and not a religious one built upon the church systems and structures of the world. Jesus himself is the living church in his capacity to graft people onto himself.

Yes it's probably my fault that pit I been living in. Yet I believe you lord Jesus christ my savior amen. There's been severe damage in my life because of spiritual attack from within and with out please give me your grace to endure until the end lord Jesus christ I always love you and want to run to you and worship you Father God and his son Jesus christ yeshua messiah and the Holy spirit glory to God. Verbal attacks been painful situations those who say wicked swelling words I'm stuck around to many unbelievers. I'm like a sheep alone on a hill and wolves nipping at my heels. @@michellesiew3652 Thank you, I realize only now how many Spirit filled teachers were there 40 years ago vs. today. Then they did not care so much about popularity and their foundation was the word of God, they sought Him first and were thankful for the gifts and signs. Today they like numbers, praise, use drama, seek signs to validate their truth, and talk mostly about themselves or their experience rather than what the word says. Of couse, I am generalizing.

Be ye hot or cold but not lukewarm. That middle of the road, middle ground safe place. Don’t make place for their sin lest you are judged because you agreed with them to keep from hurting their feelings. I’ve got at least a dozen years in this furnace. I’ve even said the Bible should come wrapped with a warning label. Simply because when you “ASK” for it, you will get it. And now it’ll be beyond redemption if I turn away and fall back to that man of sin. Daniel has been unsealed so too the rest of the prophecies within this generation. God only calls those whom are His. Subvert the flesh feelings and tears, the very angst that you sup on and endure. “HE” called YOU at this time for a reason. Just as scripture states “Act like a man” and endure. Jesus “Emmanuel” Christ prays to God for you. Specifically for Y-O-U! Be the remnant who believes in these “Those Days”. Shout it out.

When I found a Lord’s I didn’t have a church. I just soaked up and saturated myself with his word in his presence for quite a few years. I’m still doing that but I finally found a church. If you can find a good church it’s important to be with other Christians and be encouraged. I’m praying God leads you to one.

I had endured 33 years of verbal, physical and emotional abuse and then a bitter divorce. Then moving into my parents house where they had verbally abused me. Then my sister and half brother had also verbal and physical abused me. I had asked the Lord God Almighty Jesus why did I still had to go through the same things that I had endured so much with my ex-abuser ex-husband but he told me that I had to prove myself to him and how much I want to be with him. I accepted his will for my life and I will walk in his ways. The devil gave me a disgusting sexual dream and I asked the Lord Jesus to Rebuke the devil, satan, demonds, and evil spirits of darkness to be sent back to hell where these belong because I do not want to have any of these temptations never again in Jesus name. Amen!

Amen. Fire 🔥 purifies. Used in gold and diamond's. I give the Holy Spirit permission to take anything from me that is hindering me from surrendering completely. His grace and mercy endures forever. He is more than enough. Just went through 2 month's of mourning the loss of my brother. But God carried me, it was not possible without him! Thank you Jesus.

Call on Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, spend time reading your Holy Bible daily. When you can, remember God loves us all. We are not on our timing but his. God's helping me through a head injury and the ending of bad relationship. Have faith, prayers, and gratitude for the little things, God has blessed you with. It will bring you peace and comfort. If you can't handle something, that's God's faith testing you. To see if you will trust in God and put it in his hands and shoulders. God Almighty love for us, is forever and everlasting. When i read it to me it is saying that the baptism of fire is for the tares which Jesus explains later on in the wheat and tares parable. Also the colon after fire, leads to the next verse to help explain something from the previous sentence. You don't want the baptism of fire, you want the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The fire is not what the Holy Spirit works in us to overcome and clean out our fleshly desires. That is simply the Holy Ghost.

Freedom I have seen stretching far between mountains great and wide where common folk abide. To those this continent beckons and to each a better life wreckons...where every day can be a Shinning victory to plant new seeds of hope and show a family tree. Freedom I have known and will not share alone...it's beauty sings aloud or silent as a stone. To the weak it speaks of courage when battle lines are drawn. To the strong it brings a prayer to kneel and fall upon. We would not see tomorrow nor find a pearly gate if freedom were not greater than tyrrany and hate. Freedom is a place indeed blessed by God on high. My heart may rest within its creed where stars and stripes do fly.

Baptism of fire is the wrath of Yehovah. Judgment. Read the rest in context. Fire here is not a characteristic of the Holy Ghost. The fire is gut wrenching. Amen Brother Wilkerson.

For about 1 year the devil comes to me and tells me to deny Jesus and that I can loose my salvation in a blink of an eye. It’s been the most stressful and intense battle of my mind that I have. The scariest thing it’s when you wake up in the middle of the night and and he says : just say it! But thank God for this message I see what’s happening now. This message spoke to my heart and my problem that I’ve been asking multiple people countless times. Thank you Jesus . You will never forsake us or leave us .

I found out that I didn't have to feel guilty for questioning God...at what He allows to happen in our lives. Most Christians will question God when they go through a very painful, hurtful trial. And the greatest pain of all often comes from people who you know you...but do not have the compassion to understand your pain and suffering .

At 1:50. He said, He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire. We are taught when reading Scriptures to look at verses before and after. In verse 10 John says somethingt negative about fire. This preacher stops at Holy Ghost and fire. But in the next verse 12 speaks also about fire in a negative way. He tells us what He does with fire. The wheat is useful. The chaff is burned up with unquenchable fire.
