This is AWESOME!!! I have often wondered why there don't seem to be many good videos on how to work with a metronome. You explain it so well. I know I am going to watch this over and over. Thank you for creating such amazing educational content, you are really rocking it!

I actually had a long discussion a couple of days ago with my husband (who plays drums) re timing and using my metronome, which I hate using because I find it invasive and annoying . I love your suggestion to halve and quarter the clicks. Makes so much sense. I have timing problems so I'll be giving those tips a go!

I always think of Homer & Jethro & what Homer told a fan who said his timing was like a metronome. He said, "thanks but a metronome don't swing".
