LOL....Shawn. I did the same thing on Sat. Woke up before the sun came up...made a bowl of cereal and watched that Spiderman cartoon. Theme song was so great! I was never a big comic book reader or collector...but I LOVE the characters. At a school book fair I got Drawing Comics the Marvel Way way back in the 70's (finally found it at my parents house...LOL). I had quite a lot of support from peers and teachers in HS and College. I walked away from art. I couldn't see anything interesting in what I was doing...I always wanted to be more like others. I did some quick items for my daughter when she was little. I was just trying to make something she would enjoy, but show her the process of creation. I was touched when I was moving her into her dorm in college. She brought many of the things I made for her to college!!! I threw away all the things I have done over the years...embossing, watercolors, airbrushing, pen and ink, pencil drawings. My High School art teacher talked me into being an art major....I quickly dropped out and got a business degree. My art has been shelved for decades. Thanks for the great vids and the inspiration to be artistic again.
