What I love is that many of these Afrobeats artists were already very successful within Africa long before their music was being appreciated in the USA and Europe. I think It's really important to tell that narrative particularly to Americans who may assume that their success is tied to being popular in the USA. Some of these artists have been selling out mega arena's and stadiums across the African continent before you even knew who they were.

I love when NORE uses big words he doesn't understand but I still understand him perfectly. Shout out one of the greatest hiphop storytellers. Anybody also feel Davido would still be Davido without the wealth and superstardom? The man is a success machine.
