Eating poutine from fast food chain restaurants is indeed representative of English Canada. In Québec we prefer to eat authentic poutine from snack-bars: hand-cut French fries, fresh squeaky cheese curds, and home-made gravy from scratch.

Nyxi Actually, you do, but not as widely available as in Canada. You could get some in Chicago, NYC, LA, and more generally available in New England states and Wisconsin for obvious reasons (cheese curds).
