Probably not cameras. In your video there was a retro target on the concrete pier. What you saw above were Probably 2 pieces of robotics surveying equipment checking the bridge for movement hence the retro targets. Nice video just thought you might want to know this If you are considering going back.

Your gut is usually right, David, and everyone apparently loves a fail. It annoyed me when I started vlogging that my failure vlog was getting more traction than the successful ones. Strange how some people are. As for this site, the thing that would have alerted me right away is the rubbish. Where is it? Normally, there is rubbish dumped everywhere. That could be why the cameras went up the first time. Plus, you wouldn't remember, but in 1997, the IRA planted bombs under the M6 at J9. It brought the place to a standstill. Now think of the M25. The motorway serves the capital. Think what the disruption could be there. That's probably why those cameras were there. No doubt you were filmed looking straight at the camera and someone said, 'That's David, the guy who climbed Mont Blanc' and you would have been fine. But if you stopped too long, then some Bobby might just come calling. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just putting out there why these cameras may be there. But watch the numbers on YT for this vlog and see the performance at least short term. Irregardless, it's always great to see a vlog drop from you, and irrespective of success or failure, there are things to be learned. Nice one, David.

This happens to all of us stealthcampers. Cameras pop up everywhere on the most crazy places. I even got arrested recently when doing a stealthcamp for the #stealthcampingalliance challenges. Good you went for plan B. I haven't watched that one yet, so I'm gonna do that now.

Great job in the channel. I love watching your videos. They really chill me out and remind me of the UK. Quick question for ya though. In the video you were very concerned by the security cameras. Are there really harsh laws against stealth camping where you would face some serious punishment of some kind? I feel like worst that would happen is a security guard would just come and ask you to leave, but I really have no idea tbh

Way to go David on another great adventure. I have noticed you really like your stealth camping adventures and was wondering if you would ever consider doing a Stealth Camping Alliance challenge. We have a challenge every month that everybody can participate in and then we have a winner chosen where they get bragging rights and a neat prize from the presenter.
