well im guessing that this guy has a built motor. If you have a heavily modified car like that it is easy to throw a CEL.

Anything that has to do with emissions will throw a code (check engine). Your check engine light for the most part does not monitor your engine, it monitors sensors such as; MAF, IAT, CPS, O2. When you modify a car you are throwing the sensors off, the ECU is tuned from the factory for factory specifications, when something changes such as too much air, it will throw a code to let the owner know there is a potential failure somewhere.

Alejandro Velasquez not sure bro I just got mine my check engine light was on but I work at a dealer and took my own scanner it read that the cat and bank 1 & 2 sensor was out check it and it was. came with aftermarket headers and exhaust and straight pipe so the owner had done a little notifications to it maybe yours is the same?

Sorry i'm responding so late, but my tiburon threw a check engine light because the mass air flow sensor needed to be cleaned. That's a common thing for anything with a cold air intake.

Had mine on once coz of the batery.
