David Tua's KO's are really sensational. He jabs with his left and hits with his right which looks like the power punch and very deceptions. His right punch has tremendous power. The most important issue is when he can gauge the distance with his left jab. The accuracy of his left punch is devastating. He can hit you on the face. He can hit you on the side of the head. The killer punch is that he is so accurate that he hits the lower jaw specially the chin. You can see the power in this punch. You can see the head snapping back and the fight is over. Against taller boxers he is like a spring and hits them with a flying left on the chin and the fight is over within seconds. In this the right hand takes over and combines efficiently. He is the best 1st round finisher second maybe to the legendary Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson in his prime, fights never went to the championship rounds. In this aspect Tua is a great finisher in the championship rounds and you have to protect your head. Lennox Lewis showed how to fight Tua and kept him at a distance and fought him at a distance and won on points. Lennox Lewis is 6ft 6inches tall and Tua 5ft 10 inches tall. It was a mismatch due to height and reach and won on points. Lennox didn't have the gumption as a champion to go for a finish in the 1st 6 rounds and get into a real boxing match like a gladiator. His strategy was not to get hit and win on points comfortably. One thing if you notice David Tua has a single purpose in the First Round and Championship Rounds. Win the fight. Don't let referees go to the scorecard. That's what boxing is all about. One thing if you notice many of his opponents who were knocked out were in a daze and some unconscious like this fight and needed first aid and medical attention to get them out of their stupor and even sit on the stool placed in their corner.

Tua was such an exciting fighter. Big knockouts just like Tyson.
