The one thing that can make or break our color grades is white balance. In today's tutorial, I will show you how to use the curves tool to manipulable colors and balance your image to create more true to love color looks. We will also see the limitations of the DaVinci Resolve White Balance tool, and understand the use of scopes, waveform, and the parades. Brilliant SBG, really liked how you zoomed into the parade scopes to analyse the RGB waveforms in detail, then we could clearly see the subtle changes being made using the curves adjustments. Likewise when qualifying the skin and using the vectorscope. A perfect example of scrutinizing an image, then using the tools to be both technically correct and creative.

This is very helpful however my curves window doesn’t display the histogram overlay after selecting either input or output. I have the latest studio version. Do you know what it could be the issue? Thanks.

You see in the node section at the top where it says clip? Switch it to timeline.

Also you just move to the tracker tab. It's in the same row as the qualification tab

Airplanes turn into the wind before the take off. Even though it's resistance, it increases airflow over the wing. The thing you push against is the the that lifts you up. It's a way to remember our struggles are stepping stones to where we want to be

There are free tutorials like this one though my channel. We all have bills to pay my man. It's upon you my man to find the tools you need to succeed. A set of circumstances is not a valid reason for the I can't mindset.

well.... i am being honest to you.... i have desktop with core i3 and no graphics card 😪..... somehow it runs phooshop, lightroom, premiere, resolve pretty well.... but It's showing it’s age :(.... i take photography as a passion... i really like it.... even i saved money for 2 years from pocket money and bought a. canon 800D with 18-55 kit lens and a 50mm f/1.8 😍.... that's all i have..... as far income/employment goes..... i have nothing to do right now. just studying hard to keep up the grades..... ah.... i know photoshop and lightroom pretty well 😍. i also do great on premiere..... but lately i am into color grading.... then i found your chanel and some others... :) that's the whole story😊 i get it sir... it’s totally fine...... i think when you are interested in something , you will find a way to accomplishing it. you also say that everytime. and it’s already a lot that youtube community doing for us.,can't ask for more 😊.......

@@tarif7541 okay so you're in a good place man. You have a computer that can get the job down for now and a camera. What's your goal for photography and filmmaking? Do you want to make money from it? Which one do you like more.

@@sidneybakergreen no i take it as a hobby .... and in our country doing photography and videography as a profession ...one can't make much money ......so yeaa... it's just for hobby ... may be a few years later when i can afford a gimble, good lens , drone .... i will make some travel b-roll .... something like that ... that's all :)
