WEF meetings are held in Switzerland because Klaus Schwab who is german and founded WEF lives in the country, secondly, these meetings could be held in any country. CERN is located between France & Switzerland, scientists from all over the world work there, and the Gotthard Tunnel that was opened in 2016 is a railway tunnel, nothing more, nothing less, so i wouldn’t get my pants in a knot if i were you.
