My last trip to India was before COVID in 2019. Traveling with 3 other friends. We visited Gurudwara Shri Rakab Ganj Sahib in Delhi. Really beautiful grounds. All white marble. And a huge Langar. Everyone we met there was so welcoming. Of course we went to Amritsar to spend time at the Golden Temple. Mind blowing. 🙏 remember, every Gurdwara has 4 entrances, for each of the 4 compass points. So, it’s easy to get turned around. Waheguru!

No such thing is "holy" gurdwara, all gurdwaras hold the same value because they all have Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, only difference is, some gurdwaras have a lot more history compared to others.

When I was every young about 14-15 years old, me and my family had gone to see Red fort in Dehli during my summer vacations. Before going to Red fort from our stay we all forgotten our water bottles in that hot sunny day🌞. As we are from a village we don't know how to get water in the street of city 😂 We all were very thirsty and it was a panic situation. But somehow we find the same sikh temple because this temple comes in the way when we were approaching Red fort, they providing everyone free cold water, and this is how we survived and get free water in unknown city streets. It is one of the best memory from my childhood. Thank you Sikhism and sikhs for this help! Thank you Guru nanak dev ji😊.

I work with a lot of people of this wonderful faith of Sikhism. They are one of the most loving and considerate communities when it comes to giving and helping others. Kudos to them for the happiness they bring to many communities regardless of what faith they believe in, they give endlessly without judging.

@@Tripjot_Singh in every religion there are good and bad souls . Not every humans are the same either in Muslim society , Christianity , Hindu or sikh . In Canada almost all of them supports Khalistan movements and starts protesting like Hammas supporters which harms the harmony make chaos in all over the streets and they don’t support their governments in India and than they are now in Canada . Same situations Amritpal and Najjar assassinations . So every humans are not the same . As I have been in India and Canada and seen Sikh society so that I would prefer Sikh society in India are good people 🙏🏽

I have a suggestion to make: When in places which have significant importance in Sikh History try to look for the history of that place, It is often displayed on a board near entrances of historical Gurudwaras. Here In Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, the 9th Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur was martyred by the mughals because he refused to let them forcibly convert the Hindus to Islam. He gave up his life to safeguard the right of hindus to practice their religion freely. He was beheaded in the middle of the city center.

great footage i am half indian have sikh blood from my father who came too the uk in the 60s from orginally punjab RIP my father he passed at the age off 52 cancer im 55 yrs old now been a struggle since he passed when i was only 19yrs old i have my own business like my dad but im not textiles im a barber cutting hair instead off materials .
