Songs played on an Auto Harp sounds so much better than what they would on a piano as you can't replicate the sound the Auto Harp makes on a piano without that piano sound.

Wow, I've never seen a dulcimer before, and you play so beautifully!! Do you mind me asking, why is it that you wear gloves? Is it related to playing the instrument, or is it just to help with carpal tunnel or something else?

Thanks so much, I’m glad you enjoy the music!! The gloves are actually unrelated to the playing. My hands get cold easily so I just wear them all the time in cooler seasons. This is an older video and I’ve since stopped wearing them in videos because they stand out lol.

Yep, that’s essentially what it is. In fact, I think this instrument is an early precursor to the piano, and mine actually has piano wire for strings.
