The East and the Greeks very well knew long before the 600AD that Earth was round. 1. Eratosthenes(240BC) was the first westerner to find the circumference of the earth, implying that the earth is round. Eratosthenes(276 BC-194 BC) was a Greek scholar, scientist who around 240 BC set out to try and find the circumference of the Earth. He first had to assume the Earth was a sphere. He had heard that during the day of the summer solstice the sun at midday was casting no shadow in a well in the town of Syene but he observed the sun was casting a slight shadow in Alexandria. They used the standard measurement tool for distance called a stadion. Which was taken to be 185 meters or 1/10 of a mile. He had someone walk from Alexandria to Syene to measure the distance which was 5000 stadia. About 925 kilometers. He knew certain facts and made some brilliant deductions to come up with a distance of 25,000 miles!. The actual circumference is 24,901 miles! 2. Aryabhatta : Indian astrologer mathematician in his book Aryabhatiya ( 510 AD) gave the Earth's circumference with an error of just 0.27% . 2. The East including the Indian subcontinent and China always knew that Earth was round. Indians called it bhugol in their Rigveda (1800BC) The word भू is used to denote Earth. It is famously called भूगोल (Bhoogola) meaning “The sphere that is Earth”. The Rig Veda ( 1800BC) says, चक्राणासः परीणहं पर्थिव्या हिरण्येन मणिना शुम्भमानाः | न हिन्वानासस्तितिरुस्त इन्द्रं परि सपशो अदधात सूर्येण || Adorned with jewels, they encircled the earth, but Indra overcame them with the rising sun. This encircling shows a round path which could be around a spherical shape. Another prominent verse:- मध्ये समस्ताण्डस्य भूगोलो व्योम्नि तिष्ठति In the midst of the Universe, the spherical Earth stays. Even in the later periods, various texts claim that Earth is a sphere. न वै महाराज भगवतो मायागुणविभूतेः काष्ठां मनसा वचसा वाधिगन्तुमलं विबुधायुषापि पुरुषस्तस्मात्प्राधान्येनैव भूगोलकविशेषं नामरूपमानलक्षणतो व्याख्यास्याम श्रीमद् भागवतम् स्कन्धं 5, अध्यायं 16, श्लोकं 4 The rishi said: 'Oh great King, there are endless transformations of the material qualities [the gunas] of the Supreme Lord. Even though not even a person living as long as Brahma is capable of putting it into words or fully understand this, I nevertheless shall try to explain in terms of names, forms and proportions that what from the unmanifest has manifested [as Bhoogolakam, our terrestrial world] Sreemad Bhagavatham Canto 5, Chapter 16, Verse 4 मूर्धन्यर्पितमणुवत्सहस्रमूर्ध्नो भूगोलं सगिरिसरित्समुद्रसत्त्वम् । आनन्त्यादनिमितविक्रमस्य भूम्नः को वीर्याण्यधिगणयेत्सहस्रजिह्वः श्रीमद् भागवतम् स्कन्धं 5, अध्यायं 25, श्लोकं 12 Whoever, however many tongues he would have, can enumerate the Supreme Lord His potencies? For His groundless powers are immeasurable. This Earth with its mountains, trees, oceans and beings is nothing but an atom fixed on one hood of Ananta, He who has thousands of hoods. Sreemad Bhagavatham, Canto 5, Chapter 25, Verse 12 It is also explained in the Sreemad Bhagavatham and the Vishnu Puranam in the Varaha Avatar chapters of Earth being a sphere. It can be seen clearly how the Vedas and the Puranas refer to Earth using words using Bhoogola, Khagola etc which all focus on गोल (Gola) meaning Sphere.

The earth was spherical which was already known from the concept of Varaha as the third of the Dashavatara in which it carrying Spherical Earth above the Mouth.The Narada Purana, the Shiva Purana and the Padma Purana concurs placing Varaha as third of ten avatars Everyone accepts that Hindu puranas,Vedas,Upanishads etc which was written before 5000 years ago on which no Religion except Sanatana Dharma existing around the World🚩

SUBHANALLAH ...can you please make videos for reverted Muslim brothers and sisters who gonna face problems with their parents and relatives...if someone expires in his family (reverted Muslim), is he allowed to do funeral rituals as per Hindu/Christian culture ? How to protect his spouse from Hindu /Christian family and now a days due to Adhar issue people can't change their name for official records and the same initial will be carried forward to his children...how to face all these problems...i know that accepting Islam by heart is sufficient and no need of telling anybody...but our Muslim society is not encouraging( except for the educated people like you) other religion brother and sisters to come to close and accept ISLAM...as Ummah what should be our role in these issues?
