Now, there is no war, so no polygamy!! Plus, even if women get widow today, they have financial family support, plus they are in jobs. Lastly, if you want to say that you are following sunnah, then follow it full. Marry widows and even elder women ( Khadija Radiallhu anha was 2 times widow and 16 years elder to prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wasallam). Zakir Naik doesn't have sound knowledge on Islam!!

Hold on a minute you can't really ignore human urge to reproduce which is embedded in our genes. It's true not being able to marry doesn't make you public property but he's probably referring to people eloping without getting married. There's higher chance of that happening when you are not married.

this is exactly the point, no one should generalize for either the male or female, that they become public property if unmarried. There is of course the argument of sexual urgea and doing these within the boundaries of marriage only in every religion, but no one can judge that a single person automatically is a 'private property' even if they opt not to get married at all.
