NOTLD in early seventies scared the crap out of me so no way would I miss the premier in ‘78 for Dawn of the Dead sequel. It did not disappoint... to this day it’s still my favorite. Kudos George, RIP.

I made the mistake of seeing this at the theater while stoned, and for a few weeks I was totally screwed up in the head. but I now love it and have probably seen it forty times.

I'd have to agree the Stephen zombie is phenomenal.. In looks and movement.. Masterful performance. The character was great.. All the characters were amazing. Such a classic. A true romp

What I loved about this film was the feeling it gave, of civilization collapsing all around.

Quite a few comments about age on here, mostly about Scott & David. Some people age as they get older and some don't as Ken and Gaylen prove. Some people age prematurely as well. It's just life. I am just glad the four main cast members are still alive and well.

Very nice to see this people again, they all look good, Ken is the youngest looking of all. This is one of my favorite zombie movies of all time and certainly it goes beyond cult classic status, is a lot more than that, this is a great one.

I saw this movie for the first time when I was 12... I've watched it at least 200 times since and it never gets old.. Best movie ever.

I remember seeing "Dawn" the first time on vhs in 84-85 and holy crap what an experience on the little screen, epic. I knew then it was the best Zombie movie I've ever seen.

been 35 years since this great movie came out and it seems like yesterday that I saw it, wish I could go back to see it at the drive in again.

I watch this movie at least every two-three years since it's been available for home viewing. I've owned it on VHS, DVD and now have a beautiful MKV file on flash-drive! This will always be my favorite movie of all time. Yup, I'm a fan-boy nerd and proud of it man!!

Sheer unadulterated brilliance. Night, Dawn, and Day. No fast "zombies". It encapsulates the United States of America today, yesterday, and tomorrow. My father is Pennsylvania Dutch and is 96 on August 1st of 2023 and a WWII veteran. He is a voracious reader on his kindle. We speak of this series often. Enough said folks. Blessings.

I always wonder if they lived. Peter and flygirl. The helicopter had low fuel when they took off at the end so you know they had to refuel eventually. Don't know if they made far but I always wonder if they lived or not.

Wow I would have been geeking out hard at this Q&A; LOVE Dawn of the Dead. Glad to see the cast are still friends and doing conventions to this day.

This was such an incredible weekend... so glad I was able to make it to this!

I was 14 when the VCR boom happened and my circle of friends always talked about horror films. I kept hearing 3 of my friends mention Dawn of the dead. The cover of the box never really convinced me this was a good film so I passed on it multiple times. Till we had a sleep over and I got to see it. At first I thought the film was more humor than anything,the fat guy who falls into the fountain,the army solider zombie in the apartment complex,the weird nun in the mall,the freaky looking nurse,it all looked too goofy. But then you started to see how once you underestimated those things...thats how they would get you,their large numbers. And once they had you they'd tear you apart. It went from a humorous film to a oooooooh fuck what the hell was I thinking film...." Those things are slow,goofy,but once they got you it was savage. And to this day thats whats creepy about this movie,the things are dumb as hell but once they get you its not funny anymore. The characters,the mall, the memorable zombies, and the biker gang who also underestimated the zombies meet such a gory fate,its allot of film to watch again and again. Allot of great moments. I'm glad I got to see this when I was 14 and the vcr boom was going on, you would always hear from people who had vcrs about all the hidden gems that were out there, Dawn of the dead came out of nowhere and left a very creepy feeling when you got to the end of that film. . that movie left a long lasting impression on me. I still think about that film when I'm in a mall sometimes. its special to see them talking about this film here,and a relief to know theyre alive and doing conventions for the fans. I wish George Romero were still with us though. RIP.

Outstanding, Thanks for posting. I saw it on opening night in Jacksonville Florida when I was 17 and it changed movies for me and I have been a Zombie fan ever since.

I love this cast and could listen to them forever! I have watched a few documentaries, and they are such genuine, sweet, adorable people - AND talented! I love Dawn to pieces! Gaylen is just such a treasure, and I never get over how beautiful Ken Foree's voice is! "When there's no room left in hell, the dead shall walk the earth."

These actors are just the greatest,the film Dawn of the dead still scares my soul in the way that you just didn't know what was round the corner and when David aka Steven came out of the lift was just spot on and how the hell did Scott lift himself up on his death bed. The whole film for me was absolutely brilliant.
