Dawn of the Dead Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray Unboxing Second Sight Films

Second Sight Films just released a special limited edition Dawn of the Dead 4K set which includes three versions of the film in 4K and a bonus Blu-ray disc with new and previously released content and three soundtrack CDs.
Dawn of the Dead (1978) movie synopsis:
As hordes of zombies swarm over the U.S., the terrified populace tries everything in their power to escape the attack of the undead, but neither cities nor the countryside prove safe. In Pennsylvania, radio-station employee Stephen (David Emge) and his girlfriend, Francine (Gaylen Ross), escape in the station helicopter, accompanied by two renegade SWAT members, Roger and Pete. The group retreats to the haven of an enclosed shopping center to make what could be humanity's last stand.

@@CoinOpTV I think I've only seen two cuts of this movie. I know for sure I can't afford this set right now but I'm still thinking about it. I'm not really a horror aficionado but I love zombie movies and slasher movies, so this and the Friday the 13th set were both so tempting.

Wow, $100 is cheap, I paid about $161 for mine. Got late on it off eBay, but now it's going for even MORE!

There's two versions of this release the limited edition box set with book and music CDs and then just the movie only versions - classic stuff either way!

There have been some skylanders leaks going around claiming there will be a new 10th anniversary skylanders game in 2021 with toys to life. Awesome man! Just got mine today...but can not watch it yet as I do not own a 4k player or region free blu ray player. Do they make region free 4k blu ray players? Or would I need both a 4k player and region free blu ray player?

hey thanks for watching -- there are places that will mod a 4K player to be region free but if you have the space I would suggest getting a high end quality 4K player like the Panasonic DP-UB820-K ($450) which will easily play HDR10 and Dolby Vision (switches automatically) and then purchase a less expensive modded region free Blu-ray player I got the LG BP 175 from 220-electronics which works nice and was about $100 on sale -- they do sales on their website around holidays. Watching one of the extra features now interesting to see the random zombie extras talking about production. btw I have the LG OLED TV assuming you have a 4K TV :)

All for 4K players play 4K movies from all over the world. That’s what I was told. Not locked for 4K

@@hhinojosareef1 yes maybe I didn't phrase my answer well but all 4K is region free but the BONUS disc is Region B so you'll need a player that is unlocked to watch the bonus stuff.

Super cool! I wish I had known about this or that they'd do a US release. It's my favorite Zombie/horror film for sure and I think was the peak of the series.

Thanks for watching - yes one of my favorite horror zombie films also! Second Sight released a less expensive version - if you have a 4K player that is region free but the special features are on region B blu-ray discs

@@passiveincomeband8984 I got my region free blu-ray from 220-electronics it was about 100 bucks the LG one. The 4K player I have is the Panasonic UB820-K. I like havent them separate since I don't watch region B stuff often.

@@CoinOpTV I'm thinking of just getting a 4k region free player since they seem to be pretty close in price to normal 4k Blu-ray players and then it'd be able to just play any region Blu-rays in the future, even though I mainly just would want it for Dawn currently. I didn't know region free players really existed. I appreciate the info.

They do ship to USA shipping included for another $7 but you will get in December not sure if they still have it. I canceled mine I got on time one day before release from Zavvi for $100 just cause they do ship faster. Only reason I did it.🤓
