Despite your casting abilities, your efforts couldn't make the game as interesting as DoW II. Hopefully we'll get back to that content soon. Shame this game has lost too much of the franchises soul.

Hi Indrid hope this info helps: The Nobz red bar is as you said is basically a rage meter, where it fills up from taking damage, and once full they "explode" and do aoe damage. Naturally this doesn't happen much more than once except in prolonged engagements, and rarely will be triggered by quick skirmishes. The Plasma guns are indeed at that dps but the overcharge mechanic is different, in that as the weapons heat up they also gradually increase in attack speed = more damage over time, I guess as if the weapons are "warming up" before eventually overheating completely. Great cast btw!

Never played a dawn of war game. Im a warcraft 3 player. This one reminds me of halo wars nd honestly it doesnt look too bad. Dont know why the player base dislikes DOW3

I noticed that if you hit escape during a match you can see the doctrines for all players. I suspect you could do it during a replay as well, though I haven't test it myself.

DoW3 was the first game on steam i have refunded, i am so sad at how bad it is but i love Indrid casts, i hope he still does elite mod cause i think it is way more exciting to watch.

It's fun to see how the players started of like a DoW II match. This is actually not the way most people play this game. On other channels they immediately start with a certain unit spam (like in DoW I). This ofcourse has it's consequences since players like this would probably be defeated easily early game. :P I don't know... I don't like it, but do not dislike it either... Still prefer DoW II though. ;)

Either Orks can do what they want or it was an awful map control by the SM player.(Probably the later) Also, that Scout doctrine or whatever really paid off.

Ok... I tried... Even with Indrid doing the cast, this is both boring, messy, and unclear. If you can't create a clearly legible UI that you can count on to keep track of things in a replay this is already a fail. But the game pace is horrid too. Thank you Indrid for your efforts, I just can't bring myself to buy this game.

Great job with the new game, maybe 3/4 speed would be better since there is so much to cover/discuss compared to DOW 2. I have enjoyed the game so far, just wish there was a point control and annihilation game mode as well.

Please don't stop doing DoW2, I really dislike DoW3 due to the sheer lore breaking.

Not the most interesting match ever, but considering that the game has been release recently is something we can expect (until pros get the hang of it). The only thing that corncerns me is that it seems that the comebacks are REALLY hard, if you lose 1 or 2 units during the first engagement you are pretty much done.

why dont they just take the jumping space marines out---why not just replace it with a teleport animation. stop being stubborn and remove it...

Something is missing - its like there is no weight to anything, just a bunch of cartoony, mobile-ish feeling armies running around. Say what you will about DoW and DoW II being so different - you could tell they were both Warhammer 40k. Here? Nope. Company Captains and Chapter masters do fething front flips and make Banshees look geriatric and Harlequins jealous. Orks feel like they are phoning in the 'Waaagh' reading from a script, and . . . well, I dunno. Battles feel inconsequential. I found Elite Mod late and never did MP, - figured I'd wait and try and get into DoW3 multiplayer. Now, I guess I'll give Elite a try . . . That, or wait until the mod community rebuilds DoW III from scratch.

OK Indrid, good on you for casting a couple of DOW 3 games, trying it out, alright. Fine. Now, no more please, never again. Back to Elite Mod, which you do so well. For the love you bear us.

That ended pretty fast... and it kinda was one sided all the game. Seems the game still needs some bug fixes, but more important some balance between units. DOW has changed quite a lot, units dropping like flies is a weird one, combat is less forgiving which in turn means less comebacks from bad situations. Don't know if it's because of the zoom or the size of the units but the map seems huge and empty, that makes the start of the match less interesting... maybe the game would be better if everyone started with already built units?. DOW 3 still has a long way to go, like adding the shit ton of other factions the WH40K has (I really want to see necrons and tau as they didn't make it in DOW 2). But what I actually miss the most, is the single player campaign from the original DOW 2 and Chaos Rising (Retribution was... not as good), it's the best squad game I have played so far (more than xcom or commandos...people still remember commandos?) and the soundtrack was out of this world.

Dow 3 needed to do 2 things to be great: #1 Make it RTS with the mechanics of dawn of war 1 and maybe introduce new units and elite units. #2 make the graphics like dawn of war 2 with the cover system and graphics and unit models. Game could’ve been so great

DOW III might be good and DOW II surely is a sinking ship now, still.... we all love the dow2 casts, those are the reason me (and i guess 75% of the other people) keep checking your channel.... DOW 3 is horrible to watch in a cast, it cant keep up at all please keep up the dow2 replays...

As a Warhammer fanatic and a lover of Starcraft this game actually really works for me. I understand the hate but for me its just a fast paced 40k RTS that i can murder Orks in

The game looks great. Pity about the bugs, hopefully they are fixed soon and Relic listens to your feature requests, Indrid. Fuck all the haters crying that it isn't DoW2.1 or DoW1.1 or that it isn't a perfect representation of the lore (newsflash guys: none of the DoW games are lore accurate and neither is the TT game).

This is the top players in DOW III? LOL I expect spectacular places but marine player did one squad of real infantry while he was 800 req. He totally should go for second or even third squad of assaults. 1) they could chain either boyz or shooters in melee which they will win.2) Also provide both line of battle and target for Abaldo Diomedes heals. Or get tactical mass ball. With heavy flamer and doctrine he can w8 for choppaz/stormboyz to enter then tie them down with slowing fire. Eventually go for stealthy heavy bolter with doctrine to tie em down with another skill. Or if he really insist on harass tactics use scouts as well scouts order them to cease fire and provide target for scout snipersbacked with emergency assaults and stun grenade. PS Eldar sucks without cooperation. 1 vs 1 u just build melee units and grind poor pansy elves to meatballs. Even banshee without upgrade gets chopped to pieces ( and they cost over TWICE the cost of boyz, and energy, and u need special building) without dash upgrade. PS2 They reaaaly should rebalance some game aspects. Mainly how hard some abilities hit. Scouts got so little hp u can wipe them with stickbomzz. PS3 Indrid, Sir plz slow down in middle of fights and let us see the battle. It pains me when u skip the deciding fight to show us what generators look like or where the truck is.

I'm actually cool with DoW3, it's just that there's too much going on. And so it's hard to understand what's going on. But I actually quite like what I'm seeing right now. It's nothing like DoW2 or 1 but ... I don't care.

I tried to keep an open mind to DoW3. Just cant stand this game. Hope they give us the VP game mode back and add more faction because this is just bad, sloopy, stiff in tactics, really weird and ineffecient cover system. I expected much more. And hell, Im 17, I almost bought into all kind of shitty content they release these days but still cant shallow this.
