I'm still stuck on the PC (a slightly less old one this time) and so I thought I'd try to play around with some of Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9's gratuitous effects and features (which aren't all that radically different from version 8, except that it now takes MJPEG AVI files and lets you upload to KZfaq--which I didn't do with this video, because I'm an idiot . . . LOL).
This video means nothing. NOTHING. It's just a bunch of pretty Lucas North clips strung together, and set to music by an artist I found on Macjams.com, CraizeeMusic. www.macjams.com... There are a lot of talented artists on MacJams, and a lot of the music is under Creative Commons license, which will allow you to use their music for non-profit as long as you give them credit. (Which I'm doing here.) Check out the artists there and see what their Creative Commons terms are.
One thing I find very enticing about Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 is that it is SO CHEAP. You can find full versions of it on Amazon.com for something like $35 plus shipping. If you are still using Windows Movie Maker, now is the time to make the switch to something better. Vegas Movie Studio has really got a lot to offer. Like, it's CHEAP and there are tons of tutorials on how to use it on KZfaq and elsewhere.
