i did so but i can only reload the game, use the combat mode once and then breaks again. any fixes?

@@bigboyejonny9243 dying seems to be the only way that I know off other than relogging your world, which is kind of annoying, someone in the dawncraft discord said you can just leave your world and join back but I didnt have any success with that, the only way I know of right now is just killing your character, which sucks, I'll let you know if i figure anything else out. But dying definitely fixes the issue.

I figured out how to fix it. Scroll down in key binds tell you see emote wheel than just set it to whatever you want and then it will fix it

Sorry if this is late reply but 16gb for any modded server over 2 or 3 people isn't such a good idea unless it's a dedicated PC for the server, I suggest at least 8-10gb for yourself and then unknown amount for server

Make sure you installed the right essential mod type (fabric or forge) and it's also possible that essential like thinks you arent online or whatever. I really don't know why it wouldn't work

I think this is an internet related issue, maybe with your firewall or their firewall. It could also be NAT type (closed being the problem) you can do a little research on the issue related to essential mod and find some posts, I'm not home right now lol

it should be in the friends tab in multiplayer instead of the servers list, it might just be some problem with essential or the modpack not showing certain elements of the essential mod, you could try like disabling all the resource packs if you are using them to see if that helps, since Dawncraft changes the Main Menu screen.

In the curseforge launcher? I presume its telling you about "couldnt find promenade.end.path1" or something like that before the launcher crashes, this happens almost every time there is a dawncraft update and it's a curseforge issue, not you, the only thing you can do is backup your worlds before trying to update to a new version and backup anything else that you may have added to the modpack (extra client side mod settings ect. Minimap exploration will be saved in the world file and will show up if you have to make a new profile but your waypoints wont be saved in the world file) so just make sure you backup your world files before updating because it's almost guaranteed to crash curseforge and do this everytime. It's not an essential bug but thank you for asking anyway because I know a fair amount about dawncraft issues.

You may have to die for it to fix, it's a common issue with the epic fight mod right now, if you cant use combat mode you have to die it's the only fix we know of

you both have to have essential mod, and you should be able to wait on the main menu or in a singleplayer world, both should work, and the invite will pop up in the bottom right

The issue I had I think was my friend couldnt add me for whatever reason even though they had my name correct, it's just an issue with essential I believe, just make sure you both have the same version and make sure that you are both online essential, to do this you may both have to be in a world and go to the social tab and go online for it to work before adding each other, and also try the other person or some other person adding each other, some names dont work for some reason.

@@cosmicpain666 yea you might have to search around for a better explanation for this issue, at the best other people should still be able to add you, at worst idk, but maybe you can find a solution somewhere.

It could be either ram not allocated correctly (I made that mistake before) open/closed internet for the people trying to connect, and maybe just dawncraft errors, anything in between, I do know that using essential mod for multiplayer should hopefully avoid the issues that recently came up (guestbook not working on servers ect.) So hopefully you can get it to work, let me know of there is any consistency in the problems.

@@hypnotic9572 Thanks for the answer! About the Ram not allocated... How can i allocate it correctly? Does only the one hosting the Essentials server needs to allocate it or everyone who is crashing? (My problem is that my friends are joining, crashing, or being disconnected/lagging)

@@Kirinoji if you are all using the curseforge launcher then you need to right click the the dawncraft download, click view profile, click the three dots on the ride side of that dawncraft, and then there is also something about edit profile on that list of options, you will uncheck the use system memory box, and allocate preferred amount, (I use 10526 which is around 10gb so somewhere between 8192 and 13000 is recommended, I would be able to give precise details but I'm on my phone right now haha. As for disconnecting it's either RAM issues or internet those are the 2 most likely issues, are they more often having their game crash or just disconnect from the world?

@@Kirinoji also lag issues are going to be common due to the nature of dawncraft plus there being multiple people in a dawncraft world it's very volatile, proper RAM allocation may help with render times crashes and improve fps but dawncraft does have some multiplayer crash problems that are difficult to diagnose

I'm not sure how curseforge works, but it seems to install it's own instance of the launcher when you use curseforge if that's what you are asking. You do have to own minecraft obviously to be able to play.

Unfortunately no, that is one of the downsides to this method, so you would have to leave the world open on your computer

If not I'm not sure what would be wrong without seeing for myself, I know that it doesn't show up on the main screen due to dawncraft custom main menu but it should show up in a world on the pause menu. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be.

I no longer actively play dawncraft, but I do actively use essential in modpacks and it does work. Since this video it's possible that there are now incompatibilities. One thing I will say is that modpack devs (specifically lunapixelstudios which is a modpack dev team I do love) have been integrating mods into their modpacks that prevent you from using essential in their modpacks, to try and force people to use their server hosting website they are sponsored by. If obviously you don't want to use a server hosting site you can use the old school method of Hamachi, which there are tons of tutorials for. This is not to suggest dawncraft has made essential incompatible with their modpack, but just so you know for other modpacks.

@@Keel275 The modpacks that you'll have the most consistency with getting the mod to work will entirely be modpacks you make yourself. That ensures that there is no incompatibility for essential specifically put into the modpack. I myself am working on a huge RPG modpack project myself. Which I may male public when it is finished. There is no reason that it should not allow essential.

There is a chance since this video that either essential or dawncraft has had updates that causes compatibility issues or just maybe a client issue, if you think you can figure out exactly why it's not working I may be able to help out

Is it possible you put it in the wrong instance of dawncraft? Or maybe just downloaded the wrong type of essential? Just trying to come up with stuff to check, it happened it my friend when we were setting it up, they just downloaded it wrong so idk.
