@@emilytayfel7187 soulmates? How can a soulmate make solo dolo decisions. Being in a relationship isn’t about me me me, it’s about us. A lot of the decisions she made was about what SHE wanted and not about THEM and Matt went along because he didn’t want to lose her. He was losing his voice and his choices in their relationship. I’m glad he finally realized what was going on wasn’t healthy.

@@sophiatarq8479 well given his ex and her bestie moved thousands of miles a way and did a piss poor job of staying in contact there’s nothing wrong with Brett and Casey getting into a relationship. The best ones always bloom from friendship and mutual respect. Brett and Casey have friendship and mutual respect. They have the foundation for a more healthy relationship given their going in to this mindful of things that went wrong in their last relationships.

There's nothing wrong with trying to incorporate romance into the series. It's just kinda weird to 'force' the characters to try to pickup someone in their workplace, esp their shift. Ex. Sylvie is actually a good character, but they've written her like some romantic fool who can't stay single and wanma hook-up with anyone available. First, Cruz, now Casey. I'm sure there are other firemen on firehouse 51 not just their shift, if they're itching to pair her with someone fr 51.

Their relationship was very dull. Dawson and Casey have more chemistry, than bettsey ever did.

there’s a episode short I been seeing the fire house is at the hospital and Casey is with a doctor then all of a sudden Casey started crying on the doctors shoulder then mills comes to cheer Casey up you know what session and episode that is

And Casey is any better? He acted like what HE wanted was all that mattered in BOTH relationships. He barely even cared that she lost the baby. Brett and Casey are trash that look like brother and sister, and that shit is already done, sucks for you.

I hope Dawson come back I loved her in case of relationship because Casey wasn't perfect either case it cheated on Gabby she know it he spent the night at a woman's house and when he was gabathiance him and Kelly went to this bar Casey talked to every woman that whoever he wanted to talk to and that's when he went and spent the night at that latest high he went somewhere with Susan and stayed three days and then when she she kissed case in case of kissed her back but I was so glad he didn't go up to her room so case ain't half of stuff he's supposed to be either so what's the difference

The character of Dawson of course did have actual good qualities which is why Casey loved her but it didn’t mean they would work in a committed relationship. People frequently love things or people that are bad for them or twist the love they feel into something warped, so even though it is make believe written for entertainment it can still reflect real life. I always felt like their relationship was forced because the actors had chemistry with one another but as far as their characters were written, they never worked. Casey’s character said as much to Brett when he told her he hadn’t loved Gabby in a long time but that they would always care for one another. I’m still scratching my head over how many people are still so loyal to Gabby’s character when she was so disloyal to Matt and even sometimes cruel. The actress chose to pursue other things so the writers took things in a different and wonderful direction with Brett. I know I’m enjoying it🙂
