All Mighty Lord, I write these words thanking for the angle you have sent us in Sal, a man with the courage to sacrifice the ultimate sacrifice just like your son did for people like me and my family. I thank you for giving him the strength to leave his loving family everyday knowing there is a chance he wont return so someone like me can live with out fear. This message is specifically for dax I quit drinking about three-and-a-half four months ago and this song here helps me realize how bad I really was and how much I was covering up it helps me stay clean I was never a fan of your music until I heard this song and I am now a huge fan and everything that I have gone through in my life for some reason only music can help me see and heal myself and trust me brother you already have a place in heaven because you are helping so many people get away from the evil bottle much love to you you deserve so much more than what the world gives you may God watch over in Jesus name amen. I'm thankful to all that participated and spread this video. Its truly a eye opener to what people struggling with alcohol or addiction goes through. Not only them but their love ones too. I feel this should be played as a public service announcement, a way of showing that people aren't struggling alone no matter what side of the issue you might be on, with links for help for mental health and addiction. Never be ashamed or afraid to ask for help. You're worth it.

Good luck Broski. Give safe rides DD and drink NA Beer. I only DD a few times but after 3 soda pops is too much sugar and corn syrup...beer with no alcohol is better. Not sure if that is the best route to go but you don't have to be a recluse or drink alcohol to have a good time! I drink but I don't enjoy getting drunk anymore. Just a few to relax. I don't plan to quit completely but I plan on changing enough to be healthy. I drink often but I don't drink too much often at all of that makes sense. Much more self control than when I was younger. Completely cutting hard liquor out has been very good to me and not very hard to do. I hate how it feels waking up after too many so that doesn't happen often either but the plan is to never drink enough to feel it in the morning. Good luck again!

Dax giving this opportunity for so many people to express why they turn to alcohol is one of the kindest, helpful, and selfless acts I have seen in a long time. I hope you are blessed 10x over for each person you help. If you have never felt that pit of despair deep in the core of your soul, you'll never understand addiction. It numbs the pain. Years ago, I met my childhood hero and he crushed me completely with his arrogance. I swore off any heroes and mentors after that and thought there would never be another. Quite a few I missed when the challenge was going down. Glad I saw this video. I don’t consider myself sober cause I do smoke weed from time to time but it’s been 10 years since I gave up opiates and crack. Never went back. You can do it too. Wether you believe you can or believe you can’t…..you are right.

Not all addicts can smoke weed without moving back to the other things but some can and if it’s working for you keep it going! As an addict myself with 5 year sober, I can say I’d far rather see any addict smoking weed than drinking or doing hard drugs! I’d rather see them smoke than take suboxone or methadone

I don't consider weed a drug honestly. I was an opiate addict for around 10 years. I just celebrated 5 years clean this past August 30th. I smoke pot daily and haven't had one slip up on an opiate. Suboxone saved my life now I've just got to get off of them as well. I've told my doctor that I want off of them and I'm down to only 2mg a day right now. Stay strong! We do recover

Opiates and alcohol for me. 9 years sober. I'm proud of you. I also smoke weed daily, but I still consider myself sober. I smoke for chronic pain from childbirth gone wrong x2. I smoke because I can go without if I need to and the only other option is going back to the opiates. I'm terrified of that. I don't want to lose my kids and everything I've worked so hard for the last 9 years.

I'm a mess but my daughter is depending on me so I have to hold it together.... praise God that there's more than I can see right now... This video broke me, a year and a half ago my 18 year old son died due to a drug overdose and as daft as it sounds I can hear his pain in every word of all of these and it hurts so bad that I couldn't do anything to help him he had so much potential and it's all gone and all that's left is pain. I wish anyone going through this for alcohol or drugs could please just reach out and ask for help coz you may be surprised at the help that you may get back as people can't help if they don't know or understand what's going on or what's wrong. I'd give anything to have my son back but to all those of you that's still here you have the chance to change your situation please don't leave it till it's too late as you are more loved than you realise 💜⭐💜

Thank you for what you do. I drink a 5th a day my family wants me to go to rehab but I can't afford to miss work I pay almost 2000 in child support bc of my drinking. I know I need help but don't know how to get or do it
