A legit 4.30 laser time at the NIKE camp, I honestly believe if he sat out for 3 years and never played football and just worked out he would still be a 1st Rounder lol, he’s a program changing player at a position we have lacked elite talent at for over a decade.

Matthew Martinez Disagree. Michigan just had bad safety play. In Don Brown’s defense, the safeties are ask to do more than other safeties do. If you can play in the slot man-to-man then you could play safety under Don Brown. Hill could do that.

Kay Cee Michigan’s safety play hasn’t been great but it doesn’t help when u blitz ur safeties all the time and leave corners on island by himself I like hill he can be a great cover guy I just think don browns system is a better fit for linebackers and dline.

Matthew Martinez Eh.the corners was never the problem for Don Brown defense. David Long had the best passer rating defense in the county and Vert Hill was also among the top guys. The biggest weakness in Don Brown’s defense has been the inability of safeties guarding slot receivers man-to-man. Look at last years Penn State game as an perfect example. Kinnell and Mertillius was getting beat constantly by DeSean Hamilton in the slot. Look at this past week, the slot guy was putting on a show in the slot against safeties, primarily. The defense is pretty much perfect for everyone, except players that do not know how to play man-to-man. Being a great man-to-man defense helps the pass rush and the other way around.

Kay Cee Kinnel and Mettelus were both 1st year starters. A safety covering a receiver is a mismatch all day long. Daxton Hill could play corner his cover skills are good. So he would fit right into Brown's scheme. Ed Reed was a good cover safety to in his prime. You could leave him 1 on 1. Reed was probably the best ball tracker i ever seen. Games would go by, and you wouldn't hear his name. Quarterbacks stayed far away from his ass, and i cant blame them😂

Javier Sánchez Could see Ed Reed. But, I see a more athletic Minkah Fitzpatrick. Both could be elite corners and safeties. Kinnel and Mettelus both struggle against slot WR’s still.
