Today I bought my first Saab! I wanted to buy it for about 20 years. It gives much more fun than I expected.

I bought a new Saab 99 in 1970 and a used Saab 96 in 1975 and loved them both, fun little cars and great in snow!

My 02 9-3 Convertible broke down 233 miles from Sturgis on my way to the convention. Ended up towing it back to Missouri and missed everything. Thanks for filming this, at least I get to see some of what I missed out on.

Thanks for posting!! Really wanted to go this year. Always wondered what striping the hood curves would look like, now seeing it looks good on the car at 1:05! He is right about the T5 swap. Changes it from an engine that runs like a 70's beemer, to a late 90's Saab.

Thanks for filming Jacob, sure looks like a great time, I made Albany last year but couldn't make this year. Will try to make next year, any word on where it is going to be, I'm in Florida. Thanks again for all you do to keep the Saab name alive.

You really know your Saabs! My first car was a 9000 -90 light blue metallic with rims like those at 6:14. Unfortunately someone broke into it, which I heard is very easy, wrecked the interior and stole 2 of the tires. I have a black 9-3 -03 Vector now.

Hi Jacob Thanks for the video. The initial car you focused on, with satin black paint, started life as a 96. (The 93 was an earlier model with a more sloping rear end and a bull nose, from the 2 stroke era) At 10:24 - that looks like it may be the car which belongs to Dennis Lin. If so, that's been modified to the Nth degree and would be worthy of an episode all to itself.

That Troll R is a cool car and Kurt is very cool dude. Glad to see he made it out there.

That midnight blue OG 9-3 is the last year of cabriolet package with Viggen body kit and interior without Viggen sign on the front set, it is the same spec as OG 9-3 Aero, except Aero also has logo on the seat. There are too many of unique SAAB in Taiwan, also the only place which SAAB dealers still operating in the world, last year also contracted with Maptun on top of Hirsch authorized, most of Saab's owned by enthusiast today with highly modification. some of custom like LED and bumper cover modified, many of them upgrade to evan 4 or 6 pistons break caliper and disc after increasing huge power under the bonnet. One day a Dutch engineer from ASML was on a taxi saw the dealer in Tainan, he had never see so many SAAB again then plan to spend 15 min for short stop end up have the manager to give him a two hrs tour, I was lucky to see it on FB, there are too many unique SAAB in dealer just like car show.

(My '99 9-3 cv wouldn't stand out in that crowd, but thanks a lot to Ralph, it would easily make the trip there to SD!)😎 ETA: So many Saabs, too many to comment on, but if I didn't get my (bluish) frost grey, I would've chosen cosmic or midnight blue. So much Saab envy!

I have a 1998 Saab 900. It has a draw on fuse 35 and 13 that will drain the battery dead overnight. Has anybody ever run into this any suggestions?

Most of those cars are NOT a Saab as most of them are a GM parts bin car and nothing more. Saab was dead when GM purchased them and have next to nothing in common with Saab at all as the entire drivetrain (The Heart of Any Car Mind You) is GM! If you want a real Saab purchase one pre GM... Most of the cars shown here have very little if anything that was Saab. Most of what I see here is all on a GM platform with a Saab badge slapped on it!
