Reminds me of Planet Crafter mixed with Satisfactory. And, in addition, more realism and less cartoony looks. That wave truly is scary. And, if it didnt show, I wouldnt of had known that the area was an island.

I tried it it was fun and soon became redundant. They is missing some elements, maybe some visuals, chests arounds or secrets. Some mobs around would be nice i know it's early access, but when you craft some of the end tier stuff it's just you need 100x of those will requires you 30 mins to /wait or craft,(watch for description some stuff dissapear after a tidal wave)

The first five minutes he said the planet has natural disasters and I was like he’s building on flat ground with tall mountains behind him. I sure do hope he doesn’t get a tsunami and then it comes. That’s hilarious. And it didn’t matter because it was huge

The wave is a cool idea.....followed by less than par graphics. I played the prologue, feel like a pieced together money grab with ideas from other games and graphics from two generations ago.

I can't with this game. It's 2024, I can't play a game that still looks like this. It doesn't matter how "good" the gameplay loop is, if it looks like Space Engineers in 2024, I can't play it.

@@calibcrockettcoming from a newer indie game dev (6 months of work on my own survival crafting open world game) The lower poly meshes (resolution) save frame rate and have various benefits, sure, and it’s also hard to create your own materials and props, but I kinda agree that with the new hardware standards of today there’s no excuse for these lower quality assets to be the final product rather than “placeholder” textures n whatnot. You can argue that these assets give the game a unique art style but I guess what I’m trying to show is there’s two sides to this coin for many different reasons.
