Hi Erin!! How are you doing out there?? Yes, stuff went sideways and not in my plans. I did get hospitalized in GA and now home to consult with my doctor. I have to say that not being back out on the trial is like grieving the loss of someone....it hurts inside. Let me know how you're doing...I'm pulling for you!! Peace! 😎✌️

Glad to see your out on the trail! This is your old friend located in the Southern Tier of NY. I’m in St. Joseph’s hospital in Syracuse, NY. Just had a double by pass, valve replacement, ablation. Hope to be back out on the trail by summers end. Keep heading North!

Frank, did I just hear today in another hiker’s post that you had a medical emergency early on and where a rescue of sorts was required? Sometimes the excitement in prep for a new journey overwhelms a person a bit until legs get a bit stronger. I pray not, but maybe someone can let us know. Regardless, God Bless🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi Patricia! The proverbial cat seems to have escaped the bag. The truth of the matter is I started coughing badly at Hawk Mountain shelter and ended up passing out. I was transported the Union General Hospital where I Spent 14 hours in the ED. I'm in the process of posting all my vlogs and will update everybody on my physical status soon. All that said...Thank you for you for you care and prays!! Peace 😎✌

Awesome - glad you are ok in being able to respond. Many are struggling on those mountain tops right now in flu and cold season. Nights have been brutal. I’m a lot older than you folks, but Feb has been a mess for many of us with extreme coughing, etc. Take care, and we will be happy to follow on when your timing is right. AT channels keep me sane in the early part of each year - so thanks to you all!

@@SlickRickDownSouth I've gotten the test results from the GA hospital and my doctor is engaged to review them in detail. Honestly I'm so sad not being out there right now. It's like grieving a loss!! I'll know more in a few days I guess, doctors are never quick on anything except payments...lolol!!
