These videos are GREAT Mal! One question, will they ever go to all aluminum? showing the shell and all that goes into checking it and getting it ready was very interesting. Love 1249! Al did an outstanding job designing the coach. I guess what amazes me is how clean the production area is, so clean that you have the showroom right there in the production area. Great video Mal! Thank for sharing!

Thank you for these videos. :) At the very end, I noticed that the LED lights seem to be dimmed with pulse width modulation, which the camera revealed (I know it wasn't visible in person). FYI some people are sensitive to that flickering (I cannot stand plasma TVs for example, unfortunately). I hope you're using an above-120Hz controller for that dimming?

how does one get into top bunk, seems kind of high. I didn't see any kind of ladder. does the top bunk lower to gain access? if so, is it adjustable in bed? what about privacy (curtains) for sleepers of the bunks?

I think they all use too much of the tape-light LED’s - looks like the inside of a pinball machine, cheapens the really beautiful interior - just my opinion.

On the H3 I notice the passenger seat is higher than the driver's seat, why is that and can the passenger seat be at the same level.

When you raise the roof do you cut out the roof members and add pieces to increase ceiling height or do you manufacture new?

Mel.....the salesman should wear soft-soled shoes, so as to prevent scarring the new coach floor before it is delivered, or sold. It displays appreciation for guaranteeing a perfect product to the end customer.....

For that matter, they should trailer or put the shells into a boxcar down to the factory.

@@goutvols103 Much of the reason for driving the shell more than 1000 miles is to find any problems with the chassis BEFORE they get to the Marathon factory. Any damage caused to the shell on the road will be fixed when they go to the body & paint shop anyway. They've been doing it this way for 35 years now.

@@jamestorrence9340 absolutely correct Mr. Torrence and may I add that it helps "settle-in" or "break-in" the whole coach's structure before final conversion fabrication, where everything can be tightened and or retightened together. And the same can be said of the so-called final conversion processes. You'll be surprised at what a little road bump, vibrations, twists and turns will turn up...so of course the same process is done again and again untill nothing comes apart and or loose tolerance.
