Everybody 2j, and LS, swaps everything. If you're gonna swap, an RB/VR swap would be insane in this. RB to stay era correct, VR38 to destroy feelings. Good show Drew. Glad you, and most of the car, are ok!!!

Honestly the engine may be salvagable, take a look at Cleetus McFarland, he got an engine to run after 2 years of sitting outside while the exhaust pipes were directly connected to each piston seperately pointed up in the air. Rained a lot and there was plenty of water in the block. You have a higher chance than he did getting his to run lol.

Use self etching primer on bare metal and then high build prime will hide the scratches..

Try not to use a flap disk on the metal, you dont want it any more thinner than it is, also you can use some rust mort to keep it from rusting and you can wipe it off with acetone when you’re ready to paint

Removed the hardness, took off the fenders and skirts, took off the core support and bash bar. All lost hardware taken off. Sanded and primered it. It ain’t gonna be running in 1 day lol
