I know this is years later, but I just got the game a little while ago. Question. I see you're using a Sprayer. What is the difference between Sprayers and Fertilizers? I noticed it's 2 different categories in the shop.

Lol, None. You can mix and match any types in this game. I prefer the sprayer because I can see exactly how wide it is, and therefore I don't waste product overlapping, but all fertilizers, sprays and manures have the exact same effect and weight, unless you are using mods to change it.

I am starting to get interested in this game, but given my thoughts about it being upgraded annually and the time of year we are at, I think I might be wise to wait for the 2016 version. Although, I don't know at this stage when they release the new versions; start of the calendar year, start of the financial year, or somewhere in-between??.

Seems like its just before winter. This one came out Oct 16th I believe.

If you are on PC, look for the fast forward mod - otherwise you just speed up time until night is over. Just be careful not to kill your crops as they may mature and then wither overnight.
