Someone finally taking you out, and you get to be outside. You can eat too. Its the greatest feeling. Its not sad. It's the best day of your life. Your friends become real and they can pick you up and clean you and feed you and the light under the door with all the hours of shadows going by isn't all you watch anymore. Yes it's good to be that nosey neighbor...I called the police and children services on mine. My roommate told me that I should mind my own business when I would be worries becuase I could hear the little boy crying downstairs and a couple times I knocked and they would not answer. But I kept being that nosey neighbor where my heartless roommates was more annoyed at the crying ..I was stress out from the crying because I had a bad feeling. One day I marched downstairs and kicked and kicked and kicked that door until that bitch opened the door. And i walked inside and saw her little boy on the floor naked and crying. I pushed her and took her boy out and called the cops. She told me she was scolding him for wetting the bed. I wanted to hurt her. Well CPS came and they still let her keep him ......bull shit. I kept an eye on her and told her I was watching. Eventually I moved but the son was sent to live with her Aunt.

I woke up to her screaming and no one was doing shit I was all the way down in the hall, the door wasn't fully closed so I kicked it open and he was naked and peaking on meth. That was crazy, was so sleep deprived and had too much adrenaline, was a really dumb idea. But police were called and she had bruises everywhere. And my neighbour is an elderly lady who keeps her two dogs in not amazing conditions (broken fence and lots of places for snakes/spiders to hide) so I fixed her backyard/made it a little safer for the pups. Being nosey can pay off sometimes!

The suffering that mankind is allowed to inflict upon themselves and each other provides the evidence to fairly prosecute, jail, and/or put criminal people to death, thus separate the law-breaker from the rest. Likewise, for someone to be proven a sinner (a breaker of God's Law/a criminal), by definition there will be victims, even innocent casualties (who suffer at the hands [or by the mouth] of the sinner). Children who have been abused need to know what it feels like to be the perpetrator. With therapy they can, typically with good play therapy. Abusers are made when people don't get the help that they need.

Common sense is literally just people saying "well if you were nOrMaL like the rest of us then you wouldn't be sUcH a mOnStEr. The entire concept of "common sense" is a neurotypical and socially normative concept that is damaging and reductive to anyone who is "different" or grew up "differently", and its especially damaging in cases where mental health alters behaviour and social perception such as this one. "Common sense" isn't actually a thing, speaking as someone studying to get a doctorate to become a sexologist, its just a way that people console themselves by telling themselves that MOST people agree with what THEY think. Anytime someone says "its just common sense", they are almost always concluding an argument and just either ran out of supporting arguments or don't know how to communicate supporting evidence for their argument. Its just a way of feeling like your comprehension of something is widely shared and therefor if someone disagrees or does contrary to what you labeled "common sense" you can just discredit them cuz you already decided your opinion is just a fundamental natural fact that people can just "sense" is the truth. Realistically, when people are abused, if people actually cared about facts, a "universal common sense" would dictate that VERY VERY VERY commonly (much more commonly than not) abused children/people grow up and perpetuate the cycle of abuse. Even then, not everyone does, but this is why "common sense" is an arbitrary false dichotomy even when applied with full comprehension of the objective facts related to a specific situation. But to say common sense would dictate that abused people wouldn't want to abuse others is so far removed from reality that idk how to even make a metaphor for it at this point. Really, it isn't about wether they want to or not. People who WANT to abuse others are called s.adists. People who were abused and perpetuate the cycle are usually not "wanting" to hurt others, they just don't know how to control their feelings so that they don't. In this case, the minor was 14, and not saying this makes it okay but the girl probably has a very stunted mental and emotional development and likely felt that she related more to the 14 yr old than ppl her own age. To her, "common sense" was finding people she could relate to and when she found someone, she probably didn't recognize her own lifestyle as an adult would be potentially harmful for a minor to be expected to participate in. I doubt she wanted to cause pain and the minor doesn't seem to be traumatized by it which is good. But again, that doesn't make it healthy, and it just goes to show how dubious the concept of "common sense" is, especially when applied to trauma.

I believe one of them is the case of Genie Wiley. She was strapped to a potty chair, in a dark room with hardly any food, water or stimulation to learn how to walk, talk, and things like that. She was in total isolation for most of her childhood.
