I Agree to what you said Maam about singing. I have recently able to do it and wow the result is really good. It naturally gives color to the song that I sing.

What a great lesson. You’re such a natural teacher, able to bake high concepts into easy to digest morsels. The interesting thing about the speaking voice is it’s not always indicative of the authentic voice -at least that’s how it was when I started singing. I realized that I was speaking and singing in my throat, so to speak, which happens to coincide with the bottom of my natural range. Once I learned to lift my voice to its natural placement, I became so much freer; my voice floated above the obstructions. To this day, it’s an ongoing battle, but I am very pleased now with how I sound and - almost more importantly-how I feel.

Tessitura means range surely? The range of your voice. La tessitura della voce. Never really heard it used in English before. Where the voice rests or feels comfortable. Can that be more than one place? Thank you for teaching me something new.😊
