Birds can fall from higher distance to the ground and have a higher chances of surviving any injuries. That's why some lay eggs on the mountains. The baby has to throw itself to the ground to start live.

Nice but I think the way they got the chicks out of their box was quite harsh. I always count mine and remove them from the box by hand not tossing them like some trash.

It’s not easy when you have to recount ten thousand chicks 🐥(what we currently produce in our broiler farm per cycle). It’s only possible on small scale farming.

It is good to place the paper on the litter before the arrival of the chicks. Usually, it is advisable to use a plain paper. The chicks may be dehydrated due to the time spent from the Hatchery to the farm. It is better to provide water with an electrolyte in the founts. Then feed can be spread on the papers as well as in the trays. On the first day the temperature should be 30 or 32 Degrees Centigrade. Chick boxes should be removed from the Brooding house.

I think it's better to get the drinks ready before the chicks arrival, imagine the way they ran to the drinker only you meet them empty, and the light isn't it too close to chicks, I learnt it can cause chicks to bleed
