I have been following you, Gadget and Soap. I am an old coot whose dream of the AT died years ago but still do shorter distance trails. Just food for thought, I am excited to see yoy all finish and hope you all finish together. You all have such great chemistry and screen presence you should all try to keep the channels rolling when you are done with the AT. I think it would be a success!!! God Speed out there and stay safe!!!❤

I asked the question, why is the trail here?, many time times. The short answer is, it was the only land that was available to the trail makers to make the trail. In other words, no one else wanted it. Can you believe it?

Once upon a time the trail was a bunch of handshake deals and legal agreements to sell off a landowner’s property. Some owners were smart and sold rights to their most worthless land. IE a field of big rocks.
