It kind of looks like starlink satellites. They may have just been at the right angle to reflect sunlight.

Yeah Starlink, we see them here in NZ. They are not vanishing they have reached a point where they are not reflecting anymore in relation to your position. Satellites do it as well :)

Those are starlink satellites from recent launch. They disappear when the sun stops reflecting light on them
