Two offbeat things, the Bird and the English.
One was kinda just like, okayy and two was more interesting but also just okay.
That's that!

The person in the first players pfp is Friedrich Nietzsche a German philosopher. He critiqued many conventional ideas of his time with a harsh analysis.

I got a feeling you weren’t quite in the mood for chess this video. Whether or not my theory is correct, it’s always fun watching your games! You inspired me to play more rapid 10. Ive been a blitz boi for years lol

@@BelisaChess Not sure when you started playing, but 10 min games used to be considered a blitz time control. It’s what I played when I started and I forgot how much fun it is. 15+10 are great but a bit lengthy and I get a higher paranoia of cheating the higher the time control. But 10 mins that sweet spot.

The English is getting more traction these days, but remains underrated. In some variations I have a 97% win rate with the Bg2-setup.

serious? but like what do they do? its so positional

@@BelisaChess yes, I think it's positional to the point where people don't 'get it'; blundering always seems to happen after the 'obvious' development moves. It's those plans, that takes more skill or understanding than moving ponies to proper squares. Botvinnik's games are excellent for instruction in the English setups.

It would be kind of hilarious if you kept the fan as part of a chess persona even when the weather isn't hot
