Today in our Bible in a Year Reading Plan, we’ll talk about the reigns of Solomon with it’s extreme prosperity, followed by the reign of his son Rehoboam and how he failed to listen to wise advice.
We'll consider how good advice and biblical truth aren’t always comfortable or pleasing to our sinful, selfish nature, but how they keep us from the consequences of our foolishness. And how bad advice often tickles our ears and gives us the “go ahead” to do what we really want to do. So, how can we be sure we’re getting good advice?
