Highlights from day three of the Pepsi ICC European Division 1 Championships as Guersey take on Italy at Horsham Cricket Club. A place in the semi-finals was all but assured for both teams, but there were still bragging rights to be claimed.

20? At this point of time we only have 4 quality teams. That's why t20 leagues are better than international cricket. Teams are balanced.

The only way is to include it into Olympic and see how many countries will start to play... but ICC and other cric boards esp. England and Wales, Australia and India won't allow since it's profits will be slashed

@@360cricketchannel that's not exactly 16. There will be round 1 in which 8 teams will compete for 2 places in the final tournament. And those group contain Sri Lanka and Bangladesh so I don't think any other team will play the real world cup. ICC sucks. Should learn from rugby.

Can't understand how more teams are not included in major events like world cup. These teams need exposure, the additional funds etc etc to grow cricket in home countries. Cricket would no doubt benefit from global expansion and more countries playing

ICC should have done more to popularise cricket in more nations, it started late. Cricket could have been more popular than football as football is more playing sport than spectator sport. Every ball is interesting in cricket unlike football where teams may go 0-0 after 90 minutes.
