I think the reason Homura was so very ineffective in the anime was by that time she was very close to just giving up. She was just going through the motions. Its fun to see a Homura more at her best.

+random6434 I think most people expect too much intelligence and maturity out of a fourteen year old, and that although this timeline is fun to watch it's unrealistic.

Oohh this is new. Omg, Homura is so smart about all these issues dang...although the way she prefers love to be solved by rock-paper-scissors is LOL. And AHAH, Hitomi's not as sweet as she seems..

You got to ask why Homura didn't do this in the anime; nope I only love Madoka, so I'll let Sayaka go into a depression and die. Here's another idea, hey if you make this contract you lose your body, here Sayaka, take my soul gem, go down the block, and have Madoka check my pulse, now switch.
