Hey guys, this is Jess from Camp Pondo. We are currently on day 6 of unpacking 10 reasons why kids need camp.
Reason #6 is that when kids come to camp they get a digital detox.
We live in a world that is constantly bombarding us and our teens with who we should be, how we should act, who we should trust, you name it.
Camp gives these teenagers a chance to disconnect from those outside voices for a few days. Camp gives them a chance to look up from their phones and to see the beauty around them and to interact more with the people around them, and most importantly, it removes distractions to allow God to speak to them.
Camp changes lives, just ask anyone who’s been here, but there are some families who can’t afford to send their kids to camp.
So, we are asking if you would prayerfully consider sponsoring a child to help us get them to camp so they can experience all that God has for them at Camp Pondo?!
