It is unfortunate that until today Matiangi has not reflected on his utterances in the media and while called to answer questions in Parliament; his pride then was equivalent to nobody else. Sometimes we forget about what would happen to us if we are on the other side of law. Matiangi lamented while in Parliament answering questions regarding people going to court applying not to be taken in court in advance so that he can commit a crime and not be liable. Is he not doing so himself now. On the other hand, Danstan needs to be educated and informed that he doesn't need to shout to be heard, majority of us are not deaf. Every citizen has a right to their property on who goes there. its sancrosanct. A court order to raid your house has to go through a judge to ensure that it was not a witch hunt other wise the police can go to any bodies house and raid it for the sake of it. thats why you need a judge to approve a raid so that the judge can ensure that the police have a valid case and it is not a witch hunt or just meant to terrorize folk for nothing. Remember the police have alot of powers and those powers need to be checked. What if i am a police and just because i dont like you i can just come to your house and raid it for the hell of it just to terrorize you.
