I've always believed that NAIA and D3 athletes were inferior to NCAA D1 athletes. Yes, there are certainly differences in overall talent level. However, I since learned that there are some DAMN GOOD ATHLETES in D3 and NAIA schools. I was surprised to learn that Quinn Meinerz, of the Denver Broncos, went to a D3 school. And I've learned that there are quite a few former D1 athletes who end up transferring to NAIA schools due to the fact that many NAIA schools actually offer more in scholarship money than many D1 schools. HUGE RESPECT to all D3 and NAIA athletes!
