I always enjoy your videos. But, I also want you to know that I acknowledge the tremendous effort it takes to produce them. The moving the camera, the reviewing the footage, the editing, and all the other technical details that go on behind the scenes. Not to mention dreaming up the content. You tell a great story, and the extra efforts are so appreciated. People all over the world are enjoying your work!

These videos will be amazing in years to come for Ivar! I wish I had those when my kids were young. What a treasure. It’s always a delight to see you have posted a new one. I have to say it’s all very entertaining, however, I think Ivar is the star of the show. He is so adorable and it’s been amazing watching him grow and become such a sweet boy.❤ Thank you I know it’s not easy creating and developing these but the world is watching!😊

I know how you feel because I was sick for the whole of both my pregnancies. My advise is to always have something with you to snack on. I was still working with my first pregnancy and I kept a bag of crackers and raw vegetables with me all the time. It’s not fun but we all seem to live through it even though some days are worse the others. I know with my second son I was being sick into a bowl while preparing food for my toddler. They are both worth it so hang in there. Let’s hope it goes away after a few weeks.

My mother was half Swedish and half Norwegian. She made a thick fruit soup that she called Stewed Fruit. It was apricots, prunes, raisins and water. She cooked it on low heat until all the fruit was tender. We wouldn't eat it the first day. When it was refrigerated overnight, the sauce was thicker. I haven't had any in a looooong time. I must make some.

Thank you for sharing this long relaxing video. I love to watch your family simply going through the day. This time I was fascinated watching Mathias making scrambled eggs. They slid around so easily and were done in only a minute or two! That must be a well-seasoned and well-cared for cast iron skillet. The little chicks running about were so cute! But my favorite part was at the end -- after Ivar went to bed and you & Tova spent some quiet, quality time together as a couple. Adorable & precious. Many blessings to my favorite little family! 💙🇺🇸

Unbelievable this youngsters table manners and overall behavior. His ability to feed himself and not play in his food with little to no distraction at the table is amazing. No “meltdowns” labeled as “expressing himself” throughout the day without hitting his parents. Something we rarely see in the US! Great parenting. Be proud of the young man you’re raising. What a beautiful thing to see.

I know the fruit dessert you want to make, here in Hamburg, Germany. Here it's called Grütze - rote Grütze with red fruits and grüne Grütze with green fruits - and it's eaten with unwhipped cream just poured over it. There is no english word for it because it doesn't exist in England. I found it very sincere and touching to show how tired you get with this life you lead. Thanks for that❤

Check the ignition cable. If that is not broken then your next stop is the ignition coil. If that is broken there is not much that you can do but replace it. It is just held be two bolts. The trick to fit a new coil is to have it perfectly spaced at the flywheel. I use a strip of thin cardboard as a spacer. I guess that should save you the trip to the workshop.

Thank you for yet another wonderful video. Yours are, for me, by far the most beautiful, inspiring and interesting ones that I have come across. I have followed you for years now. You have showed us glimpses of your development as farmers, parents, a couple and as a man and a woman whom have taken it upon themselves to deeply respectfully live and work with the comings and goings of the natural cycles. This video, showing an ordinary day in some detail, also showed how an ordinary day turned out to be not so ordinary with minor and bigger frustrations which you work with in what seems an almost organic way, going with what is and moving onto the next task. No doubt you also swear sometimes? In any case, I admire the way both of you work with all that is alive around you. I agree with others comment about your filming skills. What a joy this is for us viewers. It is extraordinary how a day that started in an ordinary way can become quite fragmented. You make the most of it nevertheless. I hope that Tova's brother watches this video and sees that the trip to the auction was quite a chunk out of your day. The things we do for our siblings. As they say; it is all in a days work. The word you were looking for Tova is, I think, cordial or syrup. You also seem to describe something that is called Gooseberry fool, in the UK, where I lived for many years. These are probably all variations on the theme of Gooseberries and delicious. Last but not least, your little boy. What treasure he is. Many thanks and go well.

I saw the video where you were showing how you have a hump on your back. I too was going in that direction but I found a series of neck and upper shoulder exercises to strengthen those areas. The reason we develop thE hump is because our head is heavy and it takes a lot of muscles to hold up our heads. So as theirs muscles weaken from doing computer work and leaning our heads forward we will get that hump. But luckily we can correct it and learn to help ourselves with this problem. You can pull your head backwards so that your chin is touching your neck. That helps. Also there are Tai Chi exercises and look those up on KZfaq. They are also very helpful!!

Barefooted Mathias ! Very healthy when you can walk on ground free of concrete or tarmac. Even when you have to stand in a puddle occasionally ;) I'm looking forward to the episode on good shoes.

I love your outdoor kitchen!!! You’re encouraging me to start work on a small outdoor kitchen of my own ☺️. Yep, that’s how I like my scrambled eggs too. I just add a bit of pepper and cheese too. Parasol is umbrella in English (American English at least).

This is your same place as you've always had? WOW. It's grown so much. That's absolutely awesome. Congratulations on all your hard work. That was really cool watching you sled the logs! Even the old tractor is cool.

Homesteaders in Central texas. Yes work then repair. Thickened fruit is called Compote here. Or we also Stew fruit. And serve with sweet cream. Deliscious.

I really enjoy your videos and your lifestyle is what my husband and I always wanted to do.. well when we finally got around to making it happen we have realised that we’re too old. We have land and we used to have more animals but it was such hard work. You need to be young and strong for your lifestyle ❤ now we do the best we can with growing what we can, keeping a few chickens and farming olives and figs for sale but it’s still very challenging physically. You’re most fortunate that you’ve started this when you are young and fit. 😊
