How are you doing mrs Christina. Iam Arabic lady subscriber to several British and American KZfaq channels. I sent comments to you before. I thought you are still university student at final year , but I surprised you are teaching assistant. It great . There are also young lady her name rachel , she prepares PhD in American literature , have channel. You and her seem you still in early 20s . American people are very creative and active . Good luck to you in all aspects of your life .

Yes, I am currently a graduate student, but not doing any teaching or research assistant positions right now - mostly focusing on my own academic work. Thank you for sharing the fellow KZfaqr and wishing you the best too!

I am also an early riser (usually I get up around 5-6am), but not necessarily by choice. I must do my academic work early, usually before noon, or else it won't get done--my brain shuts off very early, usually by 5pm. People who do thinking work at night amaze me, there is no way I could read academic books/articles late in the day. Also, re: digital reading--I also remember more when I read physical books. But since I store everything in Zotero, I have gotten used to digital reading. But I am with you on preferring the physical copies.

Yes I also feel like an early rise "not by choice" 🤣! It truly is the only time I can do proper work and then after that it feels like it is a lost cause trying to get my brain to concentrate on anything. And yes Zotero does make it so much easier with the digital saving of footnotes but something about holding the book in my hands helps me so much with analyzing the text. Wishing you the best in your (6 am) studies!
