I know many of you are waiting for updates on when Japan will allow foreign visitors, as of now the word is Japan will open back up to tourists in April 2021. It's not confirmed but it's sounding likely 🙏❤️

It looks like it's true but you will need to get tested for Covid before you go and show them upon arrival and then get tested a again when you get there ? Basically a lot of testing.

@@aus-li I am 28 years old and not going to school anymore. But my ADHD and dyslexia made it really hard to stay focused. Sooo just saying with him as a professor it would have been way more intresting.

I absolutely love that Japan respects nature by making paths out of wood and rocks rather than blacktop or concrete. Looks like an incredible time.

Isn't that normal in the mountains? I'm German and in Europe pretty much all mountain hiking paths are wood/stone/earth :-)

Most of the time if you carry a bell on your backpack and avoid bringing food on yourself for overnight stays you'll be fine hiking in Japan :) the same usually applies to any other hiking trail with bear sightings

My boyfriend and I first tried persimmons last year, because in autumn they‘re really cheap in germany and on the other hand, they’re almost nowhere to get in other seasons of the year, and since then he can‘t get enough of them, he's been excited all week, because autumn is here😂 Btw I LOVE your videos and think you’re such a lovely personality! Thanks to you and Chris Broad I started learning japanese 1 1/2 years ago and I'm planning to study abroad in japan as soon as the whole pandemic situation is over! Thank you for so much inspiration and Thank you for sharing your Awesome lifes with the world! ❤️❤️❤️

This is the first time to make a comment. Thank you for introducing beautiful viewing and their history as well. ( I've never known the history of 八甲田山 and 慰霊の森(森のしずく公園).) I am a Japanese who are living in USA ( I love Canada as well!), because I don't like my country little bit. But thanks to you, gradually I became more attracted both Japanese good nature and culture. I miss Japanese food so much! Please keep safe and stay warm:)

The nature in Japan always looks breathtaking through your videos. I'm not an outdoorsy type of person (despite what I dream), but it makes me want to go hiking everytime. I grew up in West Virginia, and those peaks remind me of the Appalachian mountains. Even the windswept trees, like those found in Canaan Valley.

I love the persimmons, too. Love the home dried ones you can buy along the streets from the locals. An overload of sweetness that beats bean paste and mochi any day.
