Nova is so patient leaving the treats on her paws. My puppy is a year old and still acts like the "Leave it" command actually means "Eat it"

OMG when she ran into the chair and then came to you for rubs was freaking adorable!!! Then she wouldn't go get the toy, lol! My dog is that dramatic too!!

My Cockapoo also escapes her pen by squeezing his way under the pen. I didn’t believe it at first. But I got a security camera to watch him when I’m out. My 4lbs. puppy wa able to live the plastic pen and go out of the pen.

Im about to have a puppy (19 days) and I’ve been wanting a dog since i was born 15 years ago basically and the fact that i will be having one in a little bit more than 2 weeks WOW is amazing and seen your little nova reminds me of my little olivia and i just started crying because of how happy and thankful i am with my parents and life and GOD and i just cannot even talk :(

For sure! I got her for $1900 CAD my friend got her shorkie for $1500 CAD. I definitely think Nova was a little pricey but I fell in love with her and couldn’t let her go 😊

just a helpful tips if she is eating very fast then you should get her a slow feeder because it is unhealthy for you puppy to eat very fast ps love your channel and nova

The frozen food should defrost in the fridge rather than at room temperature to prevent any bacterial growth (:

Thank you do much! Honestly I feel like she got a lot better once she became food motivated which wasn’t for a couple of weeks after I got her. Just stay consistent and keep going, you’re doing great 😊

It is so wonderful watching you with your puppy. Thankyou so much. How long did it take to teach her the tricks. Perhaps you could teach us how to train or share your philosophy of training. I will be getting my puppy a Yorker in a couple of weeks

You are doing a fantastic job mommy! I had a beautiful Yorkie for 16 years. Nova only wants to make you happy so the fact that you are taking the time to lay out a path for the both of you will help create a long lasting love relationship. 12.11.20 is 3 years since my baby has passed. Watching your joy ignites my love again to possibly open my heart.💙 Thank you

Most of the time they are maybe 10 minutes but if she is really taking well to training I may go a little longer. I’ve definitely built it up 😊

Hey love your vid! I am so happy that you educated yourself and learned that raw food is so much better than kibble, because that is very true. I have nothing against people who feed their pets kibble as it ultimately their pet, and they should do what they think is best for their dog. But to tell you the truth feeding your dog kibble is like feeding them junk food everyday. While yes there are some really good high quality kibble, raw food is still better for your dog than any kibble. I am really surprised at how smart little Nova is. She literally knows all the tricks and you have only had her for a short time. Good job, I truly commend you at your amazing pawrenting skills! Thanks for reading this! I love your vids!

How do you prepare the raw food? I get my Shih tzu boy end of November 2020 his name is Lion, and I like the idea of the raw food diet. I am curious about how to prepare it, do you add anything or is it just the plain raw meat?

@@debbieannisaacs2778 There are lots of ways to prepare/make raw food that I would not be even able to type all of them out here. Just search it up online and you will learn a lot. There is lots of information about raw food, there are even some books about it too.

I am planning on making a video all about it! But I recommend being consistent and doing multiple mini sessions a day. It’ll be a little challenging at the beginning but when Nova became more food motivated that’s when things really started picking up 😊

Victoria Nguyen Thank you so much for responding. I will definitely be consistent have gone overboard with getting things and do not have her yet. I’m nervous and excited but I’m sure my fur baby will catch on quickly. I do have a question. I know you put her in the crate for nap time but you use the playpen for when you are not able to watch her at the moment because I see she is running around loose or only because she escaped LOL just trying to prepare.

@@latashalee7137 Yes you are doing great! 😊 Yeah she has somehow learned how to escape her play pen but I have yet to figure out how 😂 But when I wake up at 5:30 to take her potty I just leave her in her play pen because she sometimes stays awake and is ready for the day or she goes back to sleep. I used to sleep with her on the couch but once I started leaving her in her play pen I found I got a more restful sleep and don't want her to get separation anxiety. She does pretty well on her own in there until 9:30. 😊

Your dog makes me so happy and emotional ( I use to have a shorkie the exact same but a boy named bear and after 3 days I had him he got really sick =( , but I then got tigger who is a shorkie but nova is the exact same as bear! Xxx

I have a video coming out on Wednesday where I talk a little about training! There will definitely be more in the future. As of right now I am planning on teaching her myself but we’ll see how it goes 😊

I think it should be fine as long as it’s not directly pointed at them? I’ve had the fan on and Nova just avoids it cause it’s a little noisy haha
