Mom of 4 here with 2 boys and a new grandson. If he's peeing out of his diaper, make sure his little "sprayer" in pointed down into the diaper. Usually boys will pee out of their diapers when their little "sprayers" are pointed up. Congrats on little Atlas! Boys are the best! Mine are ages 19 and 26 and they still give me hugs and tell me they love me.

I was coming to say this about the direction as a longtime childcare worker. I experienced a lot of leaks from littles boys especially with cloth diapers and there being a larger gap at the top of the diaper. The type of diaper also may not be a good fit for Atlas if he’s having lots of leaks especially if the position is down!

You're doing wonderful, mama! 💜 Please know that baby doesn't have to stay in for 2 months though.. mama of 6 here and started gentle outings with my babies within the same week they were born 🥰 so good for everybody!

im sure she is following whatever recommendations her doctor has told her. Which are different for premature babies compared to term babies. She is not wrong to do what makes her comfortable.

If you don't know what Mommy thumb is make sure to look into it a bit. Remember to scoop the baby and not pick up with your thumbs out or you could end up having to get surgery, dads can get it too!

Tommie tippie pacifiers are very light and they will stay up themselves much easier than the others! They may help him not drop it as much. Worth a try! I loved this video!!

No kids, but I highly recommend trying to read Wikipedia pages on the world wars if you're ever struggling to fall asleep for a nap. Guaranteed sleep after a couple of paragraphs!

My doctor recommended that we stay home for the first two months that’s when a babies immune system is the weakest. I’m assuming her doctor said the same but I don’t know

@@Maijinnn Nurse here, exactly...you do not want a newborn baby contracting an illness from anyone until the immune system can have a response, the other commenters acting as if Angelique is over-protective are WRONG, that said she could take walks in the neighborhood if weather is not miserable :)

With a first baby. You should sleep when baby sleeps. Nothing is going anywhere in your house. You have friends & family around. Definitely take advantage of them.
