So I’m 22 mins into your video and you’re talking about how you’re grateful for people liking your content when you feel it isn’t always that exciting as you share all the little things that make you happy but I think that’s exactly what makes your content appealing, you’re teaching people to enjoy all the little things in life, down to the smallest detail, showing that you don’t need to go travelling somewhere elaborate or be out partying (not that anyone can currently) to enjoy life and be happy. Oh wow Gemma. I just freshly turned 18 and I literally relate to you so much! I don’t care about the crazy teenage madness. And everyone who is older than me, that I actually relate to, turns their nose up to me. It makes me feel stuck! I love cleaning, fashion, makeup, and bettering my life. Which is why I enjoy your channel so much. hey, lovely Gemma! 💕 when I first watched your video it made me feel so happy and safe. what I always enjoyed the most were the little things (just as you described - baking something, burning a cute candle, taking a nice pampering shower, going on a cute walk, seeing cute birds outside, etc.) and my hobbies never were ‘extreme’ (if that makes any sense) - I love baking and yoga and needlework and singing and just homey stuff and this year I eventually realised that being a homebody at 17 is absolutely okay! there is nothing wrong with us - people who don’t live for going out late and clubbing. I also - just as you - love to plan, spontaneous gets me anxious haha. just wanted to let you know that you definitely helped me realise that being this way that feels good and natural is absolutely good and correct and I don’t need to push myself into anything just because that’s what people my age do. you are not alone in this, it’s absolutely okay as long as this is what makes you happy! thank you for being such an inspo for me (and many others too for sure!) and helping me realise that being homebody doesn’t mean ‘wasting time’ ! love you! xxx

I absolutely love your videos, I was never the kind to go out either, I felt really out of place and that I didn't fit in because I loved and would rather have movie nights with some snacks and fairy lights with my friends. Seeing you love the small things makes me happy because I'm exactly the same. It's not boring. It's just the little things which especially right now, I think people are learning are more important than they have ever realised before. 🥰💖

Hello Gemma just to say I love your videos and don’t ever worry about not being this or that. You are you and that’s enough and there’s nobody like you. With you I learnt to enjoy the little things in life, I started to go to B&M and primark more regular like a ritual, I started to collect zofloras and cozy socks, I started to enjoy more relaxing and became less anxious, I also started to like baths which I never did, I started to read the rules of life and so on... so I have to thank you for teaching me self care and gratitude...you are a great person in your own way and that’s what makes you you.
