I get so much anxiety when there’s gatherings if I’m “hosting” , I worry someone isn’t having a good time and worry about what everyone is feeling and worry what if they a bored. I’m also not as outgoing as you so I struggled with keeping a conversation. But I love watching these videos, it gives me a lot of inspiration!

Love the open and honest chat about what goes into party planning. I feel like it looks so easy peasy and beautiful on camera and I would get frustrated because I get stressed and overwhelmed, especially with the guest list as well, so this definitely made me feel like it can be normal to feel that way so thank you. ❤

If you like reading and have a love of words and linguistics, you have to read the book, Ella Minnow Pea. It's genius and I think you will really love it. Highly recommend!!!

I loveddd Love and Other Words as well! One of my favorites 🩷 my Mom gifted me Every Summer After and I stopped reading it a little more than halfway through because it reminded me way too much of Love and other words and The Summer I Turned Pretty, almost felt like plagiarism the way they were so alike 😭 I was annoyed

Beautiful vlog. You should be a party planner. I started theme dinners in covid lockdown where I would make the eatting experience fit the food from the tablescape, music etc.. we still do this.. it is so fun.. my kids love it.

I got a set of cookies scoops for Xmas one year and they are so helpful for uniformity just be careful not to trap you fingers when squeezing the mix out.

Allison I have a new summer dip for you.Corn dip , use 2 jars of Trader Joe's tomatoes less corn Salsa and chillies .add their crumbled feta, and I large orange pepper cut really tiny. MIX AND ENJOY!!!

Tip: When you make something for the first time, don’t substitute. Only sub after you know how good the original one is. Vegetable shortening will give the cookies a crispy texture as an Oreo should have.

I had to pause the video and comment about the books! I did the exact same thing. Read Love & Other Words first (loved, loved, loved it!) and then went on to every summer after. I was also annoyed with it 😅 I did finish and it was good, but I would recommend reading a book in between them! It gave me deja vu hahah

Because you were in the library and opened the honeysuckle flower information, it feels like I HAVE TO recommend you a book called „Honeysuckle Season“ by Mary Ellen Taylor. I liked it and gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. It’s sort of historical novel with great female characters and a bit of gardening involved.
