Lauren, what I love about your presentation of your foods and not only how you make it, it's so clean. It's the presentation where you compartmentalize every ingredient you got the chicken, you got the beans, you got the vegetable, everything you can see. It's not all mixed up thrown on a plate. I just love your videos and am inspired by all that you do! My daughter and I have a garden this year of tomatoes, onions, banana and green peppers, and lots of herbs. This is our first year doing it on our own since it was always my husband’s “baby” and he passed in February. However, our garden this year was fabulous! Whether we have a green thumb or we had “someone” watching over it, I don’t know, but we had a great season. Your garden has inspired me to plant more things next year, so thank you!

We have 2- 1 acre gardens on our 80 acre farm in WI. Cantaloupes galore, watermelons & pumpkins not done yet. Plenty of bell peppers,& tomatoes & we grew corn for the 1st time. Happy for the cornstalks to decorate with.

I did the permanent makeup on my eyebrows and eyelids and I have blue eyes, blonde hair, fair skin like you do. I was interested in the waterproof (swimming) and hopes to save time doing my eyebrows every morning. Wow was it a rough and long recovery for me, my skin was traumatized the tatoo. What they don't tell you, is that you go into maintenance mode and have to have it done several times b/c it fades. I have photos I could show you what it looked like (scary). It scabs over and for a few weeks is unsightly until the scab falls off and swelling from the tatoo application. Have to put Vaseline on it for a while. I had a very reputable lady do the procedure but my fair skin was a hot mess for a month after I did it. Sharing the reality of it.

I put my tomatoes in the freezer until I get enough to process, you just toss them in a ziplock bag while and freeze

The wine valleys are beautiful!!! One thing we do with our random tomatoes coming in whenever they do, we just wash them and put them in freezer gallon bags and then when we have enough we make a large batch of tomatoes and then make our different sauces. Garden and chickens look great!

Just so you know Lauren you can freeze tomatoes whole then make a big batch of sauce later. Freezing also makes the skins come off easier 😊

So currently in growing ice burg and mixed lettuce, capsicums, jalapeno peppers, basil, coriander, parsley, cress, corn, baby spinach, chillis, rocket and red radishes everything is growing super fast and I'm so excited because this is the first time that I've decided to grow lettuce and radishes and baby spinach and it was all from seed and it's been sprouting and growing so well I'm also excited because it's the first time that my coriander sprouted and I haven't killed it yet 🤞 so I'm loving my veggie garden this year.

I over plucked my eyebrows for years and they stopped growing. Became thin and choppy, lost the whole beautiful shape. Why do we do these things? Lol but I did get them micro bladed last year and it changed my life. I barely have to pencil them in, and feel like my beautiful self again (naturally - without needing makeup). But it’s too soon for me to say longevity wise, as I know some people after years don’t like it, but some people years later still love it. Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing! God bless! 💕

LOL its actually a semi permanent i guess consided tattooing technique done by a trained professional it actually looks like actual brow hairs its amazing honestly you should really do a little research it is a little hard to find a trained clinician but so worth it ! unfortunately my gal in Morgan Hill moved durning Covid due to the restrictions at the time so i am looking for a new person now hopefully i think i might have found someone you generally need a touch up every two years ? U can put your tomatoes whole in the freezer until you have enough for a big batch of sauce. When they thaw you can just peel the skin off easy without even blanching.

Hey Lauren yes I agree the tomatoes were late bloomers this year in California. I live some what close to Napa. I am growing 3 bell pepper plants Italian flat parsley because I am Italian. Lol basil rosemary all year potatoes beets radishes 😊and egg plant. You might want to try that next year if you like egg plant. This year's plant came out so much better than last year's

I’m impressed with your card. My garden,was a disappointment. I live in Texas, in the DFW area and it’s been over 100 degrees for two months. It doesn’t matter how often you water, the plants burn. I don’t have shade. Love your channel.

Lauren, I would suggest you sucker your tomato plants next year. If you do that the plants will stand tall and you will be able to see the fruit better. By suckering the plants your fruit will be bigger also. Give it a try and see how it goes. Take care.

We have a beautiful garden and we grow tomatoes, peppers, garlic, zucchini, potatoes, onions, and herbs. We usually plant lettuce and spinach in pots so the rabbits don’t eat them. We eat rom our garden for months.

We actually started gardening this year too! We started from seed it was a great hands on learning experience for my kiddos. I have a super picky eater and we tried growing candy cane peppers from pepper joes highly recommend my daughter loves going in the garden and eating them as soon as she picks them! I was amazed!

We have trouble growing vegies as Possums (Australian Possums - I'm located in Brisbane QLD Australia) eat everything we try to grow. I have successfully grown onions from old onions that were shooting. We have rosemary, mint, basel and parsley growing and we have a large yard with 3 mango trees, a macadamia tree, 14 lillipilly trees (these are native berries) and we do have 17 lemon myrtle trees which you can dry the leaves and grind them up to use anywhere you would normally use lemon. Lemon myrtle cheesecake is delicious.

We have a garden but are limited somewhat on space. Because of this, next year we plan to eliminate some plants that take up so much room in the garden like zucchini. We want more tomatoes, green beans, peppers and okra. Your garden looks great especially all your tomatoes.

I tattooed my brows in 2008 because one was waxed off at the end and never grew back. So now I can tweeze everything and don't have to worry about the shape because it's permanent lol best $250 I ever spent ❤

My thoughts on the tattooed eyebrows; you plucked them as a teen b/c thin brows were the thing. If you have a permanent process done, it’s the same as over plucking in reverse. I mean I hope the thin brow trend never comes back but it could. Such a beautiful work commutes. The chickens are just trying to eat healthy 😀

I get my microblading on my eyebrows and love it! Imo, it looks more natural than tattooing. Some people say it ruins the natural growth habit, but I haven't noticed anything. One warning, the first few days after getting it done, it looks like you drew on your eyebrows with a sharpie 🤨 don't panic though, it gets better.

Be very careful about tattooing your brows. I am also blond. I've had my brows tattooed twice now. Unless you go ashy enough ( I didn't) the color fades to an orangy shade. You will also have to keep up with trimming your own brow hairs regularly. There is still maintenance. From shaving off my own brows I have just fuzz now and since the tattoo has all but faded I still have to draw them on. Happy Birthday! Yours is the same as my husband's. 😊

Hi Lauren great video. I can’t imagine a work,gym,work in the garden then prepare a meal kinda day! You have a ton of energy! And yes I know that you don’t consider gardening as work!😄 We are empty nesters now and I still have no idea what is for dinner! I’m tired! 😊Your chicken salad looked delish! Your makeup application was spot on. I use a tiny bit of under eye, foundation and setting powder. No primer or spritz. I will look into adding those to my arsenal.

Thank you! I don't do it all, I have a great partner and we both do as much as we can to support our family! I missed the gym all week!

I had my eyebrows microbladed (and micro shaded - “combo brows”) like 5-6 years ago and it was the best decision ever. People have no clue they’re tattooed and give me lots of compliments. My husband was extremely dubious and admits he was wrong because they look so good 😜 Be aware though: one thing I didn’t know until getting mine done is that you HAVE to be serious about your SPF and also wear hats too. Many people think their SPF is a “shield” against the sun, and it isn’t; you still need a wide-brimmed hat or to stay in the shade during peak hours of the day. If you don’t, your tattooed eyebrows can literally turn grey or blue at worst, and at best will fade quickly, which would be annoying because the procedure isn’t cheap and you’re supposed to have them redone annually for maintenance. I reapply my SPF during the day if I’m out in the sun a lot, and I keep a wide-brimmed sunhat with me so my face is protected from direct sun. It’s been a double bonus because the skin on my face still looks very youthful and I have far fewer wrinkles and far less sun damage than other women my age, despite never having Botox (waiting for baby to finish breastfeeding for that 😅). I love your videos and I’m so excited for all the fall and holiday content in the months ahead! Good luck as you continue to get in the groove at your new job ♥️

I have a crazy question... Do your cats use your veggie beds for a litter box? I have 2 cats 5 kittens (ALL Rescues)and I want to start my winter garden set up soon and not sure how to keep them out of the beds. Thanks

Ughh yes, they have - they haven't as of recently. I am not sure if it is a neighbor cat but I did catch Enzo in there once
