Apple Spice Donut Recipe: bit.ly/3lx80ct
Baby friendly Apple Spice Donut version:
Ingredients:
1 egg
1 ripe banana mashed
½ cup unsweetened oat milk
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup brown rice flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg and ground clove (optional)
1 small apple peeled and grated
½ cup warmed up coconut butter + sprinkle of cinnamon for glaze
Directions:
In a small bowl mix together oat milk and ACV and let sit for 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl mashed banana and whisk in egg, vanilla, and oat milk.
Stir in dry ingredients and fold in shredded apple.
Divide batter evenly into a greased donut pan and bake at 350F for 11 minutes.
Let cool for 5 minutes in pan before transferring to a wire rack.
Warm up coconut butter on the stovetop on low heat with cinnamon and dip tops of donuts into it and set aside to set.

My holiday baking essentials are organic pumpkin, maple sugar, and vanilla extract (I make my own). I actually use maple sugar year round for baking instead of regular sugar.

@@HealthNutNutrition it’s super easy. All you need is good quality vodka and some vanilla beans cut into 4-5 inches and split open. It just takes time and you have to shake it up every few days and leave it sealed for a few months. Totally worth the wait!

For coconut butter did you use manna? And do you have a link? One more (yikes), can I use any other kind of flour?

Yes coconut butter is the same as mana and I believe iherb sells it too I just had some already on hand. For flour you can use brown rice or oat flour or even regular all purpose should work too!

I just made it on the spot but basically: 2 cups oatmeal, 2 cups coconut milk, 2 cups water, 1/2 banana mashed, 1 apple peeled and chopped, pinch of sea salt and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Cool for about 10-15 until creamy
