Thank you so much for talking about how self gratification is not a reason to create another human. I love that you are so in tune with yourself to know that and honor that truth. I am feeling that way after one and it feels so good to hear someone talk the way I feel. Thank you for sharing. 🤍

When I was pregnant last year with my first, i subscribed to so many mom's channels so that I could take in all the information I needed. Now, 8 months post partum, I either have unsubscribed or just don't watch. Your content has kept me engaged as I've grown as a mother because my interests align so well with yours. I'm here for YOU & YOUR HOBBIES, not the glimpses of the littles. Will still be here even if you don't show them. HOWEVER, I do enjoy seeing the little crafts and activities that you do with the kids since it gives me good ideas for future crafts and activities for me and my daughter. Thank you for your videos.

I’m dying! 🤣 I can 100% see my husband saying something similar… but in a different situation. Megan is far more creative than I am. Megan, if you read this, I admire you for many different reasons one of which is your creative crafts. They make me so happy and I could never think of them myself. Currently making the refrigerator picture frame magnets for my best friend’s birthday. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 I hope you guys have a good evening together!!

I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant with #2 (first child is 3 years old) and feel in my heart that our family will be complete after this baby. The main reasons are that I don't love being pregnant, and I have found the toddler years SO tough mentally and emotionally that I'm not sure I want to do it a third time. Also, I just feel I would be the best mom and version of myself with 2 kids. It's really SUCH a personal decision that no one can make for you. Thank you for sharing!

We have 6 kids, 4 girls in a row and 2 boys, 10yr-1yr. No twins or triplets, all singletons lol. But the question "are you going to have another" never ends lol. I'm happy with 6, yes I will miss the new born stage/ baby stage but...my body just can't physically emotionally and mentally. I worry for them so much and with each one you worry more and thats alot for your body, emotionally and mentally. Enjoy how many you have, they are our blessings

Honestly, I am loving the transition away from baby content! I think it’s so healthy to give your kids the space as they get older, and I really enjoy your hobbies. There’s probably gonna be an adjustment as people get used to the new vibe but your core audience is always going to love and support you guys!

I could not imagine how hard it is to realize that some people only watch you to see kids and baby content and not for the real you. I feel horrible when my family loose interest in me because all they want to know and see is my baby. And I am even seeing them loosing interest because my son is getting older (out of baby stages). That breaks my heart a little more every time, because I feel their excitement is just that, excitement for a "new baby" and not real feelings for the new human being in this world or the mother that carries him. I know this is not precisely the same, but I felt a little bit identified with the feeling.. Ü

I needed this video. I’ve been struggling with the same thing. I have an almost 3 year old and a 13 month old and I get these intense waves of wanting to hold a newborn again and watching them grow is so beautiful and yet it hurts your heart because you know they’re only going to get bigger. At the same time, my family also feels complete and I have begun working on my body again and trying to find myself. But it’s often hard to say “I’m done.” Because it feels written in stone somehow. Ultimately, you just have to go with the flow and do what feels right to you. My mom had my sister 4 years after me because she really wanted one more even after saying they were done. Thank you for talking about this because we need to. I’ll always be a viewer of your channel I absolutely adore you outside of just your kids and that content. ❤

Watching your non-motherhood content has been a huge inspiration 💖 I'm currently illustrating my first colouring book after seeing you persue your love of writing and me refinding my love of art. I love that you share your personal hobbies outside of being a mama. I actually love being able to rely on your channel for content NOT focused on having another baby and baby prep content. That phase is so brief and there is so much more to life (as joyful as that is in the moment!). Trying to get inspired to find new interests and less scrolling endlessly on my phone out of boredom and you have so much great inspo 🎉

Megan ! One of the first KZfaq videos i watched to find out what I needed/wanted for my first pregnancy was one of your videos. My kid is now close to 4 years old and like you I'm going through a similar transition of finding out who I am now (besides being a mom). I think I can say that many of your subscribers that have been here for as long as I have may have a similar story. I enjoy your videos for you and how you parent and how you decorate your home and how you show that humanity is not this perfectly curated thing but that there are ways you can bring some magic to every day life. Keep up the good work!

Megan, I feel you so much on the baby #3 talk, I relate to almost everything you have said - other than that I don't have hyper-mobility 😂 We are still in survival stage right now with 2u2, our son is almost 22 months old and our little girl almost 5 months old, and I really feel like once we are through this phase, we aren't going to want to go back. Our family feels complete with our two kiddos, not that I'm sure we wouldn't adore a third if we had one, but our babies are amazing and I think we would be completely happy if we didn't have another bubba. Also, after 2 babies back to back, plus a horrible experience with my second resulting in a near still-birth and an emergency cesar - I don't feel like my body would be ready for another pregnancy for a LONG time. It's also SO okay to be emotional about knowing that you're done having babies - it is bittersweet, it is both upsetting and also soothing, it is complex; multiple emotions can all be true and present at the same time!! I'm sorry that your views have dwindled a bit with the shift back away from "baby content" but I wouldn't stress - it's probably just an adjustment for your viewers, and an adjustement to the algorithm to make as it reshuffles who to recommend your content to ❤❤ I personally LOVE books, games, music, writing, gardening - it's awesome that you're having more time and space for your hobbies again (I look forward to that happening for me!!), and it's lovely to watch these parts of yourself have the space to re-enter your life and KZfaq channel. Also... LOL the ending!!! Matt!! 😂😂😂

This is such a wonderful video, you put my own feelings into words exactly. This also reminds me of an instagram post I saw awhile back that really stuck with me. The words were something like "know the difference between wanting a baby vs wanting to raise a person." This is wise advice because the baby stage only lasts so long but the responsibility to raise another human lasts forever.

I started watching your channel when I was researching and preparing myself for pregnancy and our first baby. I lingered longer for the comfort knowing that someone else is doing this ahead of me and is thriving. Now I'm staying because you help remind me that there is more to us than motherhood and we /can/ find ourselves again; but also be good mothers too. Thank you for your honest point of views and content... It's nice to see content that's not just made up for Instagram. ❤

We are one and done and what you said about your feelings about never having another baby really hit hard for me. Truly how I feel and it’s hard no matter what. Thank you for sharing. As far as your views going down, etc, for sharing your kids less, I honestly respect that. It’s strange how so many influencers or KZfaq creators rely on sharing their children for money. It’s a strange concept because in other career paths it’s looked down upon to use your kids to provide for them, but KZfaqrs are constantly using their kids as content to make money for their families. It’s so strange to see, even though I personally do enjoy watching these videos because I’m also in this season of life. But I have so much respect for content creators that blur their children’s faces or show them less but just talk about things in relation to their families to relate with their audience instead, so I love that you’re heading that direction! Love your content!❤

I just want to say that I’m here for you ( content)! Kids grow and that’s life, my kids 8,3 will not be small forever but as mom’s it’s so hard to know that that our kids will not always be “kids”! We have to make sure to not loose ourself in the processes of mothering and the different stages in the joys and challenges! My heart hurts each time I see a newborn as well knowing that “stage” is over but remembering that each age has a “stage” I will one day miss these moments just like the newborn stage❤️ Keep up the great work! Love your content and your doing an amazing job wife-ing and mom-ing and create-ing! Excited to follow along on the seed’s journey round two!!!

Megan, as an older woman I realize every woman will ALWAYS feel the pain of the last child!!! If you decide to have one or ten. That is just a MOTHER'S instinct, to moter and love. I'm so happy to hear you do realize it's more than the newborn stage. Also... it's the cost of living and their education. So much to think of in this time of the world. You're absolutely right Megan, every Mother does miss that yearn of a newborn and that never ends! Thank you for sharing sweetie! Well spoken! 🙏👍🤍

I’ve been in a waiting season of life for the past few years. We haven’t been blessed with any children yet. Watching content like yours has been a way for me to learn and to feel more prepared about the reality of motherhood. However I also see so much value in learning what to do after you’re done and finding yourself again and I think it’s really healthy how you’re giving your children more space as they grow older as well. All of that is to say I’m here to stay new babies or not💛

Rohan is a few months older than my son, and Juniper a little older than my daughter - it’s been amazing being along the journey with you in these early years. But now I’m in the same stage of life as you. Two kids and done. Trying to reconnect with who I am, my hobbies, style, career etc… whilst still managing home and being present for my kids. Can I just say thank you so much for making this video and talking about the grief you experience when you know you're done having kids. I am right there with you, I could have said all of the words that you said. I have two beautiful children and physically cannot have more (surgical menopause at age 34). I do wish i could go back to the newborn and baby stage. It really is a form of grief; a door we have to pass through until the sadness no longer hurts as much. Best wishes to you on your journey through that door ❤

Your feelings on baby #3 are so valid! It’s hard to say goodbye to those precious once in a lifetime moments. I really love watching your little family but not showing the kids or having your own hobbies doesn’t deter me! I think I stopped reaching for your videos when you started focusing more on working than being a SAHM. A lot of us don’t have WFH husbands and can leave a kid at home while we run an errand, or grandparents that have time to come watch them during the day. I have my kids attached to me all day every day so I guess I just feel a bit jealous! But I know you’re a great mom and do loads for them so it’s nothing you’re doing, just my experience. ☺️

I get you so well. My second (and 99% sure) last baby is almost one and processing that he's my last has been an emotional rollercoaster. You definitely go through peaks of happiness because the survival-mode-phase is almost over but at the same time it hurts to know you'll never feel the excitement of going to ultrasounds, name-hunting, finding the gender, birthing and seeing a baby of yours for the first time. But at some point you just have to let that go and learn to be content with what you've got, I guess ❤

Never related more to the baby #3 thoughts. I also feel the “left behind” emotion because all of my friends are starting to have kids or talking about it but as a family we are done. It is fun to step into a role where I can help friends but gosh is it tough to be in a different stage of life than the others around you. It brings me great comfort (as I hope it does to you as well) that we’re in the same stage and feeling a lot of the same emotions. ❤️

The fact that I will be either pregnant or breastfeeding for five years is crazy too. I am looking forward to being at the point, like you, where you start to find yourself again. Keep posting about the things that fill your cup!

Gosh, I resonate so much with this, Megan! I just had my second baby in January, and while I always imagined that I'd have three kids, we are like 90% sure we are finished. I am a childhood cancer survivor and never, ever thought I'd be able to conceive my own biological children, so our two girls are miracles in & of themselves! But beyond that, pregnancy is super hard on my body - I too "felt like a wimp" many, many times during both pregnancies, but everyone told me it was normal. In reality, pregnancies just hit me HARD. My second delivery was particularly rough on my body and I've been told that I will need planned c-sections if I have any future children. Selfishly, I just want to feel "normal" in my body and I know I will be a better mom to my girls now if I don't have more children. They deserve that and a mom that functions closer to 100% of her abilities for their childhood. I want to have more time in my day to workout, to travel with them, etc. and I know it's easier once the babies are older. But gosh, I cry at the very thought of never holding another baby of my own again. You're right - I don't necessarily want MORE babies, I just want to cuddle MINE again. I don't think people talk about this often enough, and I appreciated your honest thoughts on it more than you know!

I was one of the people that asked how you decided you were done. I hope it didn’t upset you! I just genuinely wanted to know. I have two kids (3.5 boy and 7 month girl) due with my 3rd in September and people are already asking if I will have a fourth!! I think my husband is ready to be done, parenting little ones can be exhausting (and wonderful), but he said it is ultimately my decision and I’m kind of feeling like this is my last but have tons of emotions about that. I love watching your kid free non-mom content. I also love when you talk about practical mom things since our kids are about the same age.

First thing first, YOU are such an inspiration both as person and mother, you are one of three channels here on YT that I follow with biggest love, and I will not stop following you or stop watching your videos if you eventually not will show the kids. Even though they were the main reason I started following you as I were pregnant. Second of all, the segment where you say "I think I just want to hold my kids as babies again" hit me harder than I thought. I have one and we are not finished, as I keep thinking of baby #3 even though I'm not even pregnant with #2 😅 We'll see how it goes, because we fought for our first born for 4 years, bless her heart! But I feel you, with that sentence! I just want to hold her as a newborn again! ❤ Thank you so much for the best content there is on the whole internets 😉😇

As a non-mom viewer, I always love your mom content but am soooo here for more about you and your hobbies! Also my best tip for craft storage is to get one of those old TV cabinets from like 2004 when TVs were gigantic and had their own cabinet where you would put all of your dvds and dvd players and all of that stuff if you know what I'm talking about. No one knows what to do with them so they're always on facebook marketplace for free which is where I got mine and its absolutely gorgeous and solid wood and I literally got it for free and it has a tonnnn of storage room!

I rent a room in someone elses home and there is one of those massive entertainment center things in there. I use it as a cupbourd and food pantry. The tv hole is so big that one end of our sofa is shoved in there😂

I had a tubal ligation in March. Prior to the procedure, I felt indifferent about it. However, I knew it was the best decision because of the health issues i dealt with during and after my pregnancies. Now that it is done, I find myself grieving the end of an era. My second is about to be one, and my breastfeeding journey is also coming to a close. Our family feels complete, but it's for sure bittersweet. Thank you for the breastmilk keepsake recommendation! It's one piece of my journey I get to hold on to♥️

Love this video! I have been here for a while and have two kiddos similarly aged to yours and love your content. I love watching your vlogs and to see another mama in the same stage of life I am in. I too feel like I am starting to get back to myself again and it is so nice. I too yearn to hold my babies as newborns one more time but agree it's not another reason to have another baby. It was such a beautiful phase, and I know this next phase will be beautiful too!

I recently started watching your videos again! Once my toddler took over my KZfaq I lost all the people who I usually watched all the time! I’m right in the position you are about baby #3. I have a 4 year old daughter and a son who’s 1. And I think that’s a perfect age gap and soon me fiancé and I want to buy a home and then travel and go on vacations and I think as a family of 4 (family of 7 if you include our pets) is just perfect. I always tease I want another baby possibly two but I also have to think realistically. I’m also excited for you to be on the journey to publish your book! I’m reading the acotar series, I’m only on book 2 but since your husband said it’s like acotar I’m SO excited to read it! ❤️

Hi! Just want to say that I’ve been following your channel since I had my son, who is about to turn 2. The thing I love most is your ability to balance your interests/ hobbies with being a mom of 2. I’m struggling to find things that interest me after having my son. Can you do a video about starting hobbies as a beginner and a mom? Maybe you can teach us some of your skills! Thanks for the amazing content!

Personally, I like all the content you share! I am also a mom of two, a boy and a girl, quite close in age to yours 😊. I like that I started my motherhood journey with you about six months ahead of me, and we’re still at similar stages! I am quite a bit older than you (39 😮) but I relate to your experience in a lot of ways. So in a way, the fact that you don’t plan on another baby actually works really well for me 😂

I have a girl and a boy now adults but when my 2nd was 5 years old I got a huge urge for baby #3 but my husband said definitely not...but now that I'm 48 years old and my kids are adults and doing their own thing I'm glad I didn't go for baby #3...as a woman I think we will always get the urge for that newborn but in reality the newborn stage is so short it literally flies by. But you're super young still so just go by God's plan 🙏 ✨️

Megan! Love this so much. I always thought I'd have 3 (I am one of 3 and so is hubby). We just had our second daughter and it just feels like this is it for us - postpartum and the early years are so demanding (in a great way). But now, I feel more excited looking into the future stages of parenting and am less nostalgic about going back into the early years. Its so funny you mentioned your views going down because I have been tuning into youre channel more and more for inspiration!

So glad you’re talking about this! I have a 7mo and 2.5yo and our family feels so happy and complete, but it’s also bittersweet to feel that this season of life is coming to an end. I’m so happy with the kids I have, so excited for the kids to be older too, but it’s so sad to think I’m not going to have another baby. My husband is still hoping to have a third. But it would take a lot of convincing for me. 😅

I also think I am done after two. It does make me sad, but I try to remind myself that there are so many phases to enjoy as my two reach new ages and milestones. Newborn and babies is not the only beautiful time. I am looking forward to having deeper conversations with my children, going on ENJOYABLE trips with them, parenting teenagers, etc. I think it tempting to hold onto baby time because we just went through it, but there are great things about all ages. I am even excited to have adult children so I can support them in so many ways that I felt unsupported as I became an adult. I wouldn’t worry about the content. There will always be people like me who are going through the exact are going through.

I first found your channel when I was looking for what to put in the hospital bag before my youngest was born. I stuck around because even though I am around 13 years older than you I very much relate to you. My youngest two are around your kids ages (4 and 18m) and my oldest is 7. I follow you more now then other mommy bloggers because it isn't just all the little baby stuff. Being 41 I am past that point in my life. Also there is no time window of when you have to have your kids spaced out. If you and Matt decide that you want to have another 3, 5, 10 years down the line or not at all that is fine. Do what is best for you and your family. You (tho you might not feel it ) are still young. I had my youngest 2 months befor my 40th birthday and as someone that is 14 years older than my little sister I can say that I am closer to her then my sibling who is 8 years younger, and my some of my friends with their siblings who are very close in age.

First, when I get stuck in momma mode, I get away from KZfaq, but then I get to binge your videos I missed! Which helps me mentally (thank you 🥹). Second, my son is about to be 16 months and we decided to (unless we have a surprise) only have him. This was hard for me to fully understand because I never wanted an only child. I was an only child for 16 years and hated it, so in my plan, I always so at least two kiddos to love on. But! This little guy is our world and we truly believe that we’re complete. Thank you for always sharing with us ♥️

Also I wanted to add that if you want to have another one later in life, you absolutely can! Take your time and enjoy the kids and have it as a possibility to have another in the future :) that way when someone announces a pregnancy you won't grieve. Your time will come to have another if and when you decide it's what you want to do! ❤

I know people just beginning their motherhood journey and i honestly feel jealous sometimes even though I know i cant handle anymore (i had 2 in 16months so sooo much of my last couple of years has been babies, sleep schedule and nappies). Like you say im not longing for a 3rd im longing for mine to be newborns again ❤ time just goes sooooo fast 😊
